2 Events & Activities Reminders Tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis and ready for you to purchase on Wednesday, July 26th. Purchase tickets as early as you can because they do sell out fast! Please call (520) or fax (520) to place your order, or come to the Activities Office between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm MST. All orders received prior to 9:00 am MST on July 26th will not be processed until the following day, Thursday, July 27th. Please remember Palm Creek requires Residents to wear their name badge at all times. We will be checking at the door! 3 Nov. 18, :00 PM Palm Park THE BLUES FESTIVAL * This will be our first of four park-wide events. This year we are having a Blues Brothers Tribute band. If you liked the original Blues Brothers, you will love these two guys, along with their Bluesmobile! The event is free! The ticket is for those of you who would like the food. Ticket sales cut off is Nov. 14th. Tickets are $5.00pp. ALCOHOL WILL BE SOLD AT THIS EVENT. Nov. 21, 2017 Tuesday 2:30 PM NINE & DINE-GOLF * Format is best 2 balls of the 4 gross scores. There will be prizes and food after your game of golf. Limited to 48 players. This event is always sold out, so get your tickets early! Deadline for sign up is Nov. 19th. Entry fee is $25.00pp. BYOB Nov. 23, 2017 Thursday 2:00 PM Santan THANKSGIVING DINNER * Come and enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving dinner with your friends and family, leave the cooking and cleaning to us! There will be only one seating so make sure to buy your tickets early. Ticket sales cut off is Nov. 18th. Tickets are $16.00pp. BYOB Nov. 30, 2017 Thursday 5:00 PM Santan TIME FOR DINNER-RIB EYE STEAK * Enjoy a 12 oz. Rib Eye Steak dinner with your friends. This is just the first of many. Blueberry pancakes, bacon, fruit kabobs along with coffee and juice. This is a great way to start the day! AND THE MIDNIGHT SUN BAND-DANCE Don t be fooled by the name, this is a LIVE BAND, not a DJ. They were here last year and our residents just loved them. Playing 50 s and 60 s music that is so much fun to sing and dance to! Tickets are $12.00pp. BYOB Dec. 13, 2017 Wednesday Bus Departs Palm Park at 5pm ZOO LIGHTS-BUS TRIP Let s go to the Zoo! We will see some amazing lights. It takes 4 people 14 weeks to install this display. This is a fun trip you will love! Come see all the lights and the animals. Make sure you wear your walking shoes. Ticket price $46.00pp. Bus departs Palm Park at 5pm. Dec. 15, :00 PM Santan TIME FOR DINNER-RIB EYE STEAK * We re having a 10 oz. rib eye steak along with a shrimp cocktail, baked potato, salad, and dessert. Doors open at 4:30pm. Meal served at 5:00pm. Tickets are $8.00pp. Dec. 23, 2017 Santan COME BACK BUDDY-DANCE This group continues to keep us all dancing and singing to the songs of Buddy Holly along with the famous songs of the 50 s. One of our most popular groups, we keep getting requests for them to come back year after year. Tickets are $12.00pp. BYOB Dec. 25, 2017 Sunday 2:00 PM Santan CHRISTMAS DINNER * Enjoy the family and leave the cooking to us! Join us for a traditional Christmas dinner of ham, scalloped potatoes, broccoli salad, soup, 84homemade bread and cheesecake with topping. There will only be one seating. 6 Dec. 31, 2017 Sunday 8:00 PM NEW YEAR S EVE-DANCE Ring in the New Year with all of your friends in the ballroom! Hor d ourves will be served and you can dance the night away with the ever popular band Spotlight. Tickets are $25.00pp. BYOB AN EVENING WITH THE STARS-THE EDWARD TWINS SHOW Jan. 2, 2018 Tuesday We are unbelievably lucky to get this show here at our resort. The Edward Twins have performed all over Europe and even for the Queen of England. This is a true Las Vegas Show that you will definitely not want to miss! You will not believe your eyes when you see the impersonations of Cher, Barbra Streisand, Elton John, Ray Charles, the Phantom of the Opera and Neil Diamond just to name a few, there are just too many to name. This is truly a one of a kind show! If you only see one show this season, it needs to be this one! Ticket are $20.00pp. Jan. 4, 2018 Thursday 2:30 PM NINE AND DINE-GOLF * The format for this is Red, White and Blue. Limited to the first 48 players. There will be prizes awarded with food served after golf. Deadline for sign up is January 2nd. Tickets are $8.00pp. Jan. 6, 2018 THE CAMPBELL BROTHERS-DANCE This country band was at our Welcome Back Party last season! We had so many requests to have them for a dance-so here they are! 7 Jan. 10, 2018 Wednesday RHINESTONE COUNTRY-SHOW This show explodes with shine and shimmer and bling that has defined a generation of country music fans. Featuring music from stars such as Dolly Parton, Shania Twain, Toby Keith, Travis Tritt, Faith Hill and Garth Brooks, just to name a few. You will be clapping your hands and stopping your feet before the night is over! Tickets are $20.00pp. Jan. 11, 2018 Thursday 5:00 PM TIME FOR DINNER-SURF AND TURF * Bring you appetite and your friends to the ballroom for a dinner of rib eye steak, breaded shrimp, garlic cheddar mashed potatoes, salad bar, homemade bread and apple dumpling for your dessert. 8 Jan. 13, 2018 JOHNNY K AND KOMPANY-DANCE Johnny K is one of our more popular bands, playing all of your favorite songs from the 50 s, 60 s,70 s, country and polkas. This is a band that everyone enjoys dancing to. Tickets are $12.00pp. BYOB Jan. 14, 2018 Sunday NPA-LASTING IMPRESSIONS-SHOW This one woman show starring Karen Grainger as a vocal impressionist with a musical trio backing her up. She will be performing some of your favorite singing stars. Tickets are $15.00pp. NINE & DINE-GOLF * Jan. 16, 2018 Tuesday 2:30 PM The format here is a 4 person scramble with a limited flight ball. Players should expect to use 2 and 3 extra clubs off the teeing area. Everyone must use 1 drive per person. There will be prizes and lunch is included. Limited to 48 players. Deadline for sign up is Jan. 13th. Entry fee is $25.00pp. BYOB Jan , 2018 Wednesday Bus departs Palm Park at 9:00 AM TWO NIGHT STAY IN LAUGHLIN-BUS TRIP This bus trip to Laughlin, Nevada is back by popular request! Here you can gamble the night away, go to shows or just kick back and relax. Price includes the bus and 2 nights lodging at the Aquaruis Hotel and Casino. Tickets are $ double occupancy and $ single occupancy. Limited number of rooms available. Jan. 19, 2018 Who does not like homemade sausage gravy and biscuits! 9 Jan. 19, :00 PM CASA GRANDE FIREMAN S SPAGHETTI DINNER Help support our firemen here in Casa Grande! This meal is prepared, and served by our brave firemen and women. 100% of the ticket sales goes to our local fire department to buy new equipment. The meal is spaghetti, breadsticks, salad and chocolate cream pie! Help support our brave and dedicated firemen! Tickets are $15.00pp. BYOB Jan. 20, :00 PM Santan CASINO NIGHT * Let s gamble and dance the night away! We will have poker and blackjack tables, slot machines and a video poker machine. Dinner will consist of a shrimp basket. Then at 6:30, DJ and the Midnight Sun band will be in the ballroom for your dancing pleasure. There will be prizes awarded. Jan. 24, 2018 Wednesday Bus departs Palm Park At 4:00 pm SILVER STAR ROCK N ROLL SHOW-BUS TRIP Our first trip to the Silver Star! This was on our list of new bus trips in the Activities Office that our residents would like to try, so let s all hop on the bus and watch a phenomenal show of musical talent. Dinner is included. Tickets are $65.00pp. Jan. 26, :00 PM Palm Park WELCOME BACK * Remember the days of the Carnivals? Well that s what we are having here! There will be games to play and prizes to win! We even have a giant slide for you to play on. Our clubs will be here to show you what they do and to answer any questions that you might have. Meal ticket sales cut off date is Jan. 23rd. Tickets are $12.00pp. BYOB Jan. 28, 2018 Sunday NPA THE TOM AND SHONDRA SHOW A combination of several musical genres, which include Broadway favorites, pop, country and duets. Get ready! 10 Jan. 30, 2018 Tuesday Bus departs Palm Park at 7:45 AM MUSICAL INSTRUMENT MUSEUM-BUS TRIP We ve had several requests for this bus trip. This museum is ranked #20 of all the museums in the United States, and is rated the #1 attraction in Phoenix. There are more that 6,500 musical instruments on display. We have included a $15.00 meal voucher. Bus departs Palm Park at 7:45am. Tickets are $63.00pp. Jan. 30, 2018 Tuesday 5:00 PM TIME FOR DINNER-PRIME RIB * It s time for another fantastic prime rib dinner. This month we are serving prime rib, twice baked potato, salad bar, homemade bread and a special hot fudge brownie sundae! Doors open at 4:30pm. Meal served at 5:00pm. 11 Feb. 8, 2018 Thursday Bus departs Palm Park at 8:00 AM TUBAC BUS TRIP Spend the day shopping with your friends, there are over 100 shops and world class galleries to explore. You can shop for anything from pottery to jewelry, and have lunch at one of several restaurants. Load all of your purchases on the bus and relax. Bus departs Palm Park at 8:00am. Tickets are $43.00pp. Feb. 8, 2018 Thursday 2:30 PM NINE AND DINE-GOLF * This format is the lone ranger (pink ball), everyone will play their own ball, the pink ball will be used in the group and counted on every hole. This has been described as high energy country music with a Cajun twist. Tickets are $20.00pp. Feb. 14, 2018 Wednesday 5:00 PM VALENTINE S DINNER & DANCE * One of our most popular events! Treat your sweetheart to an evening of dinner and dancing. Dinner will be shrimp cocktail, prime rib, scalloped potatoes, green beans and Boston cream pie. Then you can start dancing to the sound of Heartbeat, a band we have had here several times in the past. Cut off date for ticket sales is Feb. 8th. This event is always sold out. Tickets are $20.00pp. Feb. 22, 2018 Thursday Bus departs Palm Park At 9:15 AM THE LIVING DESERT MUSEUM-BUS TRIP It s been a couple of years since we did this trip and we are getting requests to go again, so here we go! Here you will experience all of the animals, plants, birds and reptiles that our Arizona desert has to offer. There is a restaurant and a gift shop so you can walk some, see some exhibits, have lunch and start all over again. Bus departs Palm Park at 9:15 am. Tickets are $40.00pp. 12

13 Feb. 23, 2018 Here we go with our famous homemade sausage gravy and biscuits served with assorted yogurt and fruit parfaits. Coffee and juice are included. Meal served 7:30am-9:00am. Max of 30 players for each tee time. We also have a putting contest that runs from 7:00-9:00pm. There is unlimited sign-up for this event. Entry fee is $20.00pp for the golf and $10.00pp for the putting contest. Feb. 24, :00 AM Palm Park CAR SHOW * Join us in Palm Park to view these beautiful cars from our past. Sit down and relax to the sounds of High Tide, a band you will be singing and dancing to! Ticket price TBA. ALCOHOL WILL BE SOLD AT THIS EVENT. Feb. 25, 2018 Sunday NPA-THE DAN NAINEN SHOW Billed as one of cleanest comedians in the world, he will tell you stories and jokes that will keep you laughing for the entire 90 minutes! Tickets are $15.00pp. Feb. 27, 2018 Tuesday 5:00 PM TIME FOR DINNER-SIRLOIN TIP * Bring your appetite for this dinner. Sirloin tips w/sauteed mushrooms and onions, rice pilaf, mashed potato and gravy, salad bar, homemade bread, and strawberry shortcake parfait to finish off this wonderful dinner. Playing all of our favorites from the 50 s, 60 s, 70 s and even some country. Dance the night away to the Newtones! Tickets are $12.00pp. BYOB March 5 & 7, 2018 Mon. & Wed. 9:00 AM CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP Two days of golf, a total of 36 holes played. This will be individual, stroke play, gross and net scores in flights. Pizza party and award ceremony at 5:00pm. No limit of players. Entry fee is $50.00pp. BYOB March 6, 2018 Tuesday 11:30 AM FASHION SHOW * Join us for our annual fashion show in the ballroom! Lunch will be chicken cordon bleu, spinach salad with warm bacon dressing, roll and apple crisp. Then enjoy the show with fashions from Foster s Fashions. Ticket sale cut off date is March 2nd. Tickets $15.00pp. March 7, 2018 Wednesday TENNESSEE RIVER-ALABAMA TRIBUTE SHOW Tennessee River band stays true to the essence of Alabama s music, taking their chart-topping songs and adding their own fresh, modern and unique energy, bringing Alabama s music alive once again! Tickets are $20.00pp. March 9, 2018 This morning we are serving a cheesy Amish breakfast bake (eggs, bacon, potatoes, and 3 different cheeses). Coffee and juice are included. Tickets are $12.00pp. BYOB March 11, 2018 Sunday NPA-KEYBOARD & KOMEDY Deborah Offenhauser plays the piano music of Joanne Castle, Liberace, Billy Joel and many more. This show says fun along with sophistication and will bring out the fan in everyone! Tickets are $15.00pp. March 15, 2018 Thursday 2:30 PM NINE AND DINE-GOLF * This format will be Cha, Cha, Cha. We will rotate 1 ball gross on the 1st hole, 2 ball gross on the second hole and 3 ball gross on the third hole and keep rotating throughout the nine. Limited to 48 players. There will be food and prizes after golf. Deadline for sign up is Jan. 13th. Entry fee is $25.00pp. BYOB March 16, 2018 Our last breakfast for this season will be what we call Porky s -1 biscuit, fried potatoes with homemade sausage gravy, and assorted yogurt and fruit parfaits. Tickets are $12.00pp. BYOB March 18, 2018 Sunday SUPER HUEY LEWIS & THE NEWS-TRIBUTE SHOW The ultimate Huey Lewis experience is the only show of it s kind anywhere.
