The team completing the course in the fewest putts wins. Entry fee was $20 per team; 100% of entry fee going to the prize fund. Each team could complete the challenge one time. The winning team received 70% of the prize fund and the second place team received 30%. Twenty-three teams competed in the challenge. Long Putt Challenge: Andy MacLean 11 $100 gift card The challenge was held on the 18th green. Players had two chances to make a putt from approximately 35 feet. Prize awarded for closest putt. Chipping Challenge: Steve Thorpe 4 $100 gift card The challenge was held on the 9th green. Players had two chances to make a chip from the pavilion area. Prize awarded for closest chip. Did You Know??? Chris Warfield placed second in the sectional qualifying of the Remax World Long Drive Championship, held at the Deer Run Golf Club on July 9th.
