BIG SIR MIKE JOHSON Mike is on vacation Big Sir Mike Johnson LITTLE SIR DAVE MOORE Alright it s time to put the July Luncheon in the history books as we look forward to the August picnic. I thought that our speakers at the July Luncheon, Bill Hartley and Mark Throp, were fantastic. The history that they laid out about Yellowstone Kelly was very informative and interesting. I wish them well on their quest to have the bike trail renamed to the Yellowstone Kelly Memorial Trail Way. If you live in Paradise and would like to assist Bill and Mark, you can write to the Town Council supporting the Yellowstone Kelly Memorial Trail Way. If you haven t got your tickets for the Sir s Picnic on Aug. 13 th time is very short. This is a great event every year and I would like to thank Glen Wolf and his committee for all their effort in putting it together. I hope you all come out on Aug. 13 th and enjoy all of the fun, games, raffles, and friendship. This event is not only open to Sir s and their spouses but also to friends, family, and prospective new members, so come out and enjoy. I d like to welcome our new member John Menicucci to Branch 52 and ask you to search him out at the picnic or our Sept. Luncheon and introduce yourselves to him. For those of you who don t play golf and for those of you who do I d like to thank Mike Kruger and the golf committee for the great job they do at running the golf club. I know that this is one of the reasons that I joined Branch 52 and that it was the reason a lot of our members did. It takes a lot of work and we really appreciate it Mike. Ok, on the golf note, I had a great time at Canyon Oaks on the 18 th and I only lost 5 balls. Don t laugh I lost 12 the last time out there, ok you can laugh now. I will send updates as I get them. Your trail boss s are making them up now Bernie: We need to book our trips ahead of time so we can get a head count. You can always cancel if you can t make it. But you need to call your trail boss and let them know you are planning on going. We know things come up and you may have to cancel. Most cancelations are 1 or2 weeks before the trip.
