5 1. Welcome On behalf of the Organising Team it gives me great pleasure to welcome everyone including competitors, spectators and volunteers to the to the 4th. edition of Rally Denmark. Round five of the Danish Rally Championship, finale round of the FIA Benelux Rally Trophy. The event also incorporates a well-supported national rally which also counts for the Danish Historic Championship Championship, and the NEZ junior Rally Championship. For 2017, the Rally Headquarters, Parc Fermé and the Service Park will be located at the Kjellerup. The event will have a high profile Ceremonial Start around the arena on Saturday 4th November. There will be 15 challenging stages in the middle of Jutland. Reconnaissance 5.1 Reconnaissance Schedule All rules need to be downloaded from Procedure for Registration A reconnaissance pack will be issued with the road book. This will include: a registration card which must be completed and handed to the official in Rally HQ before start of reconnaissance. GPS tracking system will be use to recording every run on each special stage, (the system must be carried in the car for the duration of the reconnaissance) 2 reconnaissance number plates which must be fixed to the top left of the front and rear windscreen. If a crew taking part in reconnaissance wishes to change the car or vary the occupants they should telephone the Rally Office on Tel: or Failure to follow this procedure will result in refusal to participate in the reconnaissance. There is no other registration required for reconnaissance. The Reconnaissance Car Registration Form is available on 6. 11 7. Service park 7.1 Location Rally headquarter from November 3rd - 4th - 5th November Kjellerup Hasselvej 15, DK Kjellerup. Saturday November 4th. from Sunday November 5th. from The Service Park has a mixed hard surface. 7.2 Service Park Entry Procedure It is the competitor s responsibility to inform the organizing team, how much space there are needed. As a starting point, each competitor 6 x 8 meters. It is only allowed to have rally car + service vehicle standing in the service area. Auxiliary vehicles are not allowed into Service, but may park in the Auxiliary parking area about 200 m from the service park. Speed limit on the service Park at 20 km/h. There will be no security at the Trailer Park and competitors are advised to lock their trailers. Trailers are parked at own risk. For any questions or additional information, please contact: kjleif@gmail.com Refuelling: For environmental and safety reasons NO refuelling is permitted by any competitor within the Service Park. There will be one remote refuel zone location per day. Crews may refuel only in the designated refuelling zones (RZ) or at commercial filling stations on the rally route indicated in the road book. Procedure at Commercial Filling Stations 1. Drivers may use commercially available pump fuel dispensed from pumps at commercial filling stations marked in the road book. This fuel must be dispensed directly into the tank of the competing car. 2. The crew must use solely the equipment on board and only the pumps with no external physical assistance. 3. Cars equipped only with FIA-specified refuel couplings and using fuel from commercial fillings stations must transport the adaptor in the car and show it at pre-rally scrutineering. 10

12 Maps over service area see Appendix Overnight Parc Fermé Night Parc Fermé is are place in Rally HQ. ( See information in supplementary regulations) The area are close by the fence. Parc fermé opens at. 07,30 Sunday. Where participants have to pick up the car and drive it to the service area. Participants must be ready to start a leg 2 after a new Publication of Start List. Start list can be found at the Kjellerup or on 8. To-Way Radio Not in use. 9. Fuel 9.1 Fuel description In all disciplines within the rally sport in Denmark, it is as a fuel only allowed to use gasoline or diesel. It is only permissible to use fuel with up to 15% ethanol content. According to Danish specifications of , , respectively, must be adhered to. However, foreign participants, to use other types of fuel, according to Chapter 12 in the Danish specifications 10. Import of Vehicles and Spare Parts Competitors coming from the European Union do not need to make any special customs clearance. All vehicles need to have valid traffic insurance. Tyres and spare parts can also be imported without clearance. Competitors coming from outside the European Union will have to report to customs on their arrival in Denmark. Please prepare a list of all the tools and equipment you are bringing with you. 11. Helicopter Not in use. 11

13 12. Scrutineering, Sealing and Marking Scrutineering, sealing and marking will be locate in Rally HQ. A time table will be send out in bulletin 1. Bulletin 1 is available on All transmissions, turbos and spares will be marked and sealed for all competitors. Competitors must make the necessary preparations before attending scrutineering. The On-board Camera Registration Form is available on Driver's Safety Equipment At scrutineering competitors must produce all items of protective clothing, underwear, including helmets and a FIA approved head restraint (FHR, formerly called HANS) intended to be used. The competitor will be responsible for the technical conformity of his car and for the intact preservation of all affixed identification marks throughout the rally. It is also the responsibility of the competitor to see to it that any part of the car, which has been handled during checking, is reinstalled correctly and that all tools used for scrutineering have been removed from the car Noise level A noise test will be carried out at scrutineering. The noise limit will be 103dB(A) at 4,500 rpm measured at 0.5m from the end of the exhaust pipe at an angle of 45. A time table will be send out in bulletin 1. Bulletin 1 is available on Shakedown / Rallyshow SS 3, SS 6, SS 9 will be run as Super Special stages ( Rallyshow ) 14. Other Procedures Start Order Procedure The selection of Start positions will be taken from the Danish qualifying list. 12

14 Ceremonial Start The Ceremonial Start will be held at the start area next to the Kjellerup All cars and crews must be present in an Assembly Area before start. No trailers will be allowed in the Assembly Area or in the Ceremonial Start Area. The finish of the rally and podium ceremony will take place at Kjellerup The final time control will be TC 15B (Podium). From here competitors will be required to follow the route in the road book, under Parc Fermé conditions via the Finish Podium and then directly into Parc Fermé. Leading competitors will go the podium first in the order of 3rd, 2nd,1st. The remaining crews will then be directed to the podium to receive any awards. 15. Electrical The electrical voltage is the European 230V standard. Phones Public telephones can be operated with either phonecards, coins or credit cards.
