The next site safety meeting is today at 12:30 PM Disruption Avoidance: DAP #9 - building wide power shut down on 11/27/15 went well. Nasseff confirmed the heat was on at the Bros Residence, but pumps subsequently shut down due to a fuse that failed. Heat was restored on Saturday. Nicholas requested advance notice of noisy work, so he can notify staff ahead of time. Post Meeting Note: EXAM SCHEDULE o There should be no audible noise in the Florance Center during the following times: Monday 12/7 from 8:30-9:30 Tuesday 12/8 from 9:00-10:30 Thursday 12/17 from 9:00-10:30 o Please eliminate audible noise to the fullest extent possible for the classrooms near the Florance Center because of 1st semester finals on the following days: Monday 12/7 from 8:30-15:00 Tuesday 12/8 from 8:30-15:00 Page 1 of 5

Letter size was given to Cheryl for recommended location/layout. 11/5/15: Nicholas will continue to look for signage letters. 10/22/15: Sean and Nicholas to continue to look. 10/01/15: Sean stated the letters are missing. He will check with Nicholas on their location. 9/10/15: DLS will be using existing signage letters at the north entry. DLS asked to provide a layout for the signage. 11/30/15 Page 2 of 5

3 14.03 Exterior Lighting between Brothers Residence and New Addition 11/12/15: The light fixture schedule was reviewed with the Team after the construction meeting. will issue clarification on adding (two) additional light fixtures between the school and Brothers Residence, and locating the (2) light poles in the north parking lot on the civil and landscaping plans. 11/5/15: RFI #52 was returned, lighting levels in that area meet code. asked DLS if they d like additional lighting. A meeting will be set up to review all light fixture types and locations with DLS. 10/29/15: RFI was submitted today. 10/15/15: Pat suggested additional lighting may be needed at this area. He will send an RFI Recondition/Move Lockers from Boys Locker Room 10/29/15: John has identified how many additional lockers will fit in the PE Locker room (5 banks). DLS will make arrangements to have them painted. 10/22/15: John Haggenmiller will look at the new PE Locker rooms and estimate how many additional lockers will fit in those rooms. John has this information and will forward it to Nicholas. DLS will take as many lockers as needed from the Boys locker room and have them painted and moved into the PE Locker rooms as soon as possible. McGough will move the lockers Phase 2 Investigation and Abatement 12/3/15: Sheltertech will be on site to perform abatement starting Monday 12/28/15, and will take 2-3 days to complete. 11/30/15 DLS 1/1/16 11/19/15: John forwarded a sketch to Nicholas. Andy is waiting for his service department to inspect boiler room valves. 11/12/15: John will forward a sketch to Nicholas. Andy will assess the valves at the boiler room to determine extend of asbestos to be abated. DLS would like to have Sheltertech do all the abatement at one time, over Christmas break. 11/5/15: John has started to open up areas for investigation; he ll provide a plan to DLS showing areas (he s aware of) that need testing. DLS will contract with MacNeil for testing, and plan removals during Christmas break, when school is unoccupied. 10/29/15: McGough to identify and open up areas for abatement testing by DLS consultant. 10/22/15: DLS agreed it would be a good idea if McGough did some Select Demolition to do some investigation and verification to assist in identifying any additional Asbestos, field dimensioning, etc. so the week of 3/21/2016 can be as productive as possible and to minimize delays Operable Partition Clearance Issues 12/3/15: John/Josh to provide joist measurements. CCD will be issued by end of December. 12/30/15 11/19/15: John/Josh forwarded field verifications to. to issue clarifications. 11/12/15: John will send field measurements of existing structural members to Cheryl, to review for structural verification at the operable partition, and ductwork clearance coordination. 11/5/15: Kevin gave John existing structural plans for information. John is in the process of field verifying existing structure and duct. 10/29/15: John pointed out there are clearance issues at the operable partition due to existing structure and proposed new ductwork. He ll provide field measurements to Cheryl, so can review the elevations Henricksen Furniture 12/3/15: Henricksen forwarded dimensions at the Learning Lab, and additional power/data outlet locations at the ILC, today. will incorporate the changes into the ILC CCD. 11/19/15: Henricksen has received the CAD files for coordination. 11/12/15: will send CAD electrical plans directly to Henricksen. 11/5/15: McGough forwarded Henricksen construction documents, along with 1 st and 2 nd floor electrical plans, for review and comment. 10/29/15: DLS will be contracting directly with Hendrickson for furniture and demountable partitions PE Locker Room Exhaust Fans 12/3/15: DLS decided not to replace the fans at this time. 11/19/15: DLS to review Nasseff pricing for replacing the fans and decide whether to proceed. 11/12/15: Nasseff has investigated the fans further. The east exhaust fan is operating near full capacity and is not capable of meeting design. The west fan has a bad motor and is not operational at this time. Both fans are the same model and are not capable of design cfm. I would recommend that both fans be replaced in order to meet design. to review and respond. Page 3 of 5

4 18.04 Mechanical System Review 12/3/15: requested additional information on existing HVAC systems to resolve questions below. Andy will write a summary and forward to the team. Nasseff 11/19/15: A review of the mechanical plans was held after today s weekly site meeting: 1. RTU-1 serves the Learning Center with VAV system, RTU-2 serves locker rooms and fitness center with 100% outside air. 2. DLS noted that the furnace for Lobby A (2 level) is not working. to review how to provide adequate HVAC at this area. 3. John H noted there is a conflict between existing steam pipe and proposed rain leader at North Entry area, 2 nd level. to review. 4. The corridor outside the Learning Center has no air supply, to review. 5. The library is currently served by 2 furnaces. DLS would like to know if the existing RTU over the Casanova Room could be re-used to serve the library and Lobby A. If feasible, what would the cost be? to review. 6. It was noted there is no floor drain called out for the garage. DLS would like to add a floor drain, janitor sink and water supply at the garage. to review, provide plan for pricing 11/12/15: DLS requested an HVAC review meeting with the mechanical engineer and Nasseff. McGough will send out a meeting notice for this next week after the site meeting Rooftop Unit Screening 12/3/15: DLS will not require the additional calcs. 11/19/15: rejected generic calculations (10/22/15), requires MN PE to do calculations. DLS reviewing whether to have Nasseff proceed with calcs Door D 105 C 12/3/15: Andy Adkins is looking at the addition of a steel beam header at new door. 12/3/15 11/19/15: A new pair of doors 8 wide is proposed at an existing 6 wide opening in existing masonry wall. is reviewing the structural implications of widening this opening Layout of Floor Outlets at Learning Center 12/3/15: John forwarded field dimensions of structure at weight room to for coordinating outlet locations. Team 12/3/15 New Business: 11/19/15: Pat Reak requested coordination of the floor outlets he s installing for Henricksen Furniture, with the existing concrete structure. Description Action By Required Scoping of Existing Waste Lines 12/3/15: Nasseff scoped the first of the 4 pipe, and found a minor amount of sediment. The video will be available next week, Andy will forward to the Team. Next week, Nasseff will scope the pipe upstream of the boiler room, and try to determine where flow is coming from. The remaining of waste pipe will be scoped over Christmas vacation. Nasseff 12/31/ Coordinate Location of Existing Steam Pipe and New Rain Leader (North Entry) 12/3/15: John will provide location of existing steam line to for coordination Floor Drain, Janitor Sink and Water Supply at Garage 12/3/15: Nicholas and John will review and suggest location for the janitor sink, hand sink and hose bib Added Clocks and Bells 12/3/15: DLS needs a drop dead date for making a decision on added clocks and bells. Team will look at plans prior to meeting next week to review locations Phase 2 Coordination Meeting 12/3/15: McGough will schedule a coordination meeting in early February to review the location of McGough/ Team Team McGough 1/14/16 Page 4 of 5

5 temporary partitions and demo schedule and impact Metal Panels 12/3/15: Mike Fastner from Flynn reviewed the available metal types, thicknesses and finishes with. Mike recommends using a steel panel for durability. will review the samples and make recommendation/color selections.
