JOEY DUNN'S CAREER BATTING STATISTICS: / / / /1 Totals / /4 When Tim Lincecum (6 innings) and Nick Hagadone (3) combined on a no-hit win over Santa Clara last season, a number of previous Husky no-hitters that had been lost in history came to light. In fact, documentation for four additional no-hitters that were not listed in the UW or Pac-10 media guides were found, bringing the number of known no-hitters in Husky history to eight.the first was thrown by Bob Peterson in 1951 (month and day unknown). Peterson struck out seven and walked three in a 7-0 beating of division rival Idaho. The next was by George Kritsonis against Seattle Pacific on April 8, Kritsonis threw a nine-inning game, beating the Falcons He struck out 16 and did not allow a runner to reach second base. Kritsonis helped his own cause with two hits that day. Just a little over a year later, the UW got a seven-inning job thrown by Larry Morrow, who was making his first college pitching appearance. Morrow, regularly a catcher, no-hit Puget Sound, 14-0, on April 21, He fanned six, walked one and hit one batter, but did not allow a ball out of the infield. He played every position on the field for the Huskies that year. In 1969, Husky Gary Huson added his name to the list with a seven-inning no-hitter, Husky No-Hitters Lake High School Earned three varsity letters for coach Dave Chambers at Lake, captaining the squad as a senior... named first-team All-KingCo as a senior, when he was also tabbed one of the top 30 pitchers by Baseball Northwest... helped the Kangaroos to a league title as a sophomore... graduated with a 3.5 grade point average.
