The first place Z s have won seven of their last nine games and meet the Redhawks. ROADTRIP: Z s are 2-2, split with ABQ..329 AVG, 31R, 36 LOB, 5.82 ERA Z s RECAP The visiting New Orleans Zephyrs scored a season high 17 runs and defeated the Albuquerque Isotopes 17-8 on Tuesday at Isotopes Park. Ricky Ledee had four hits in five at bats and drove in seven runs including a grand slam home run. Andy Tracy went five for six at the plate, scored four times including his two run home run. Ruben Gotay added four hits and drove in a total of seven runs in the series. The Zephyrs bashed 23 hits setting a new franchise record for most hits in a game. The game was tied at six through five innings when the Zephyrs scored six in the sixth and added four more in the seventh. Chan Ho Park wins is third game of the season and Roy Corcoran takes the loss for the Isotopes. Albuquerque used seven pitchers during the afternoon. Starter Ricardo Rodriguez was ejected for intentionally throwing at Ricky Ledee third inning, following the Tracy home run. The Z s and Isotopes split the four game series. HUMBER WINS PCL PITCHER OF THE WEEK- Z s starter Philip Humber made two starts and was 1-0 with a 1.38 ERA. He struck out seven batters, and allowed just two runs in 13 innings of work during his second week at the Triple-A level. HIT PARADE The Zephyrs 23 hits on Tuesday set a new franchise record for most hits in a game. The previous record was 22 set 1998 in Las Vegas. The 23 hits for the Zephyrs increased the team batting average for the season from.253 to.269. DOUBLE DOWN Z s infielder Ruben Gotay has hit four doubles in his last two games. He has a Six game hit streak. He is 8 for his last 18 with 7 RBI. EXPLOSION- Ricky Ledee drove home 7 runs in the Z s win on Tuesday. Ledee drilled a grand slam and has six hits in his last ten at bats. The 7 Runs batted in for Ledee is the most by a Z since May of 2002 when Jason Lane accomplished the feat. HOME/ROAD COMPARISON- The Z s are 5-3 at home batting.275, 39 runs, 9HR, 8 SB, 5.00 ERA. On the road the Z s are 7-5, batting.265, 60 runs, 11HR, 8SB, 4.52 ERA. SAVE IT!- Lino Urdaneta leads the PCL with 6 saves. He is 6 for 6 in save opportunities and ten of the Z s 12 wins have needed a save. WHOA PEN- The Z s bullpen has allowed 49 runs in 56.1 innings, The Z s starters have allowed 53 runs in 112 innings pitched. The pen has allowed 13 hr and starters 12 in double the amount of innings. MILLEDGE - Z s outfielder Lastings Milledge has 11 hits in his last 23 at bats and had a seven game hit streak snapped Monday night. He left in the second inning with a bruised right foot, He is day to day and will evaluated in New York. GO GOMEZ- Z s outfielder Carlos Gomez has reached base in all 20 games and leads the PCL with nine stolen bases. THE ROSTER- Outfielder Ben Johnson is on the disabled list with a sprained right shoulder. The Z s are at the roster limit of 24 players.

2 TODAY S NEW ORLEANS ZEPHYRS STARTING PITCHER #46 Adam Bostick Height Bats - L Birthdate March 17, 1983 (24) Birthplace Jeannette, PA Weight Throws - L College - Resides Jeannette, PA CAREER TRANSACTIONS: Bostick was drafted out of Greensburg-Salem high school by the Florida Marlins in the sixth round of the 2001 draft. On November 20, 2006 the New York Mets acquired Bostick and left-handed pitcher Jason Vargas from the Florida Marlins in exchange for right handed pitchers Henry Owens and Matt Lindstrom Spring Training- Appeared in one game and pitched one scoreless inning for the Mets Makes his fourth start of the season and his second career start against the Oklahoma Redhawks. Made a start on Sept 4 th at Albuquerque pitched 4 innings and allowed six runs on ten hits in a loss Made 27 starts in the Minors and was 9-9 spending the majority of the season at Class AA Carolina. Pitched with KC in 1997,98,99,2000 and Appeared in 53 games for Phillies in 2001 and 42 games in Also spent time with the Indians in 2003 and the Mets in Background- in 2004 was second in the league in games pitched.
