2 Overview DC Circulator service began in A major planning effort was undertaken in 2011 which established a long-range plan and goals for the system: Goal 1: Provide a high-quality transit network. Goal 2: Maximize financial and operational return on investment. Goal 3: Promote economic activity in existing and developing activity centers and support a transitoriented lifestyle. Goal 4: Improve mobility within and access to and from the monumental core. Plan is available at dccirculator.com About Us
3 Overview Performance targets established through the 2011 planning effort: On-time performance (80% of arrivals with headways <15 min) 20 boardings per revenue hour $2.75 operating subsidy per rider per revenue hour 25% farebox recovery Less than 4 bus stops per mile 20 or fewer customer complaints per 10,000 passengers Zero preventable accidents per 10,000 revenue miles 3+ activity centers per route

13 Fleet Maintenance Our original fleet of 29 buses is now over 10 years old. Our team is giving them regular maintenance and they are performing well. Recent Improvements: o New upholstery has been installed on the bus seats. Future Improvements: o DDOT is evaluating visual and voice annunciators on our buses that will declare the next stop to riders. o We are working with our partners to purchase new buses to add to our fleet. o We are repainting all buses with the new livery. Be on the lookout while you travel for the new design!
