TEAM ALASKA National Dual Team TEAM ALASKA Future of Champions Camp TEAM ALASKA National Team Camp
This is meant to be a working concept subject to change and improvements To acknowledge the Higher level wrestlers that are ready for that challenge. That have spent the years as a younger wrestler with Team Alaska and paid their dues to represent the state as so. To also give the lower level wrestler the opportunity to get that one on one focus without slowing down higher level wrestlers goals. Break down Team Alaska Prep camps and technique improvements camps into their own focused goals while bridging them together as well.

Coach Dual Team (Dual team will participate in the Pocatello tournament for Juniors as well) Possible dorms for certain age group or Dual team Goals: - Director agrees to staff and makes sure to bring in a professional group of diverse coaches that are able to work well together - To execute a camp that leads(feeds) younger kids into a tough mental aspect for the future prep camp to Fargo - To give the wrestler that needs more tech a one on one, at the same time not losing the intensity for the kids going to Regional's - To help bring the level of tech to an even ground for all wrestler with out holding others back - To provide strategy and concept from different coaches as well as the tech and conditioning. - To build smaller mentor groups within the mass of the camp based on weights and trying breaking kids up from same locations
-will be Broke into 3 groups or pods( Junior Mentors) -will be Broke down into sessions based on whether they are going to Regional's. (if possible) -Conduct rules, concept and strategy of the style for that session 30min before practice -Bring pods together for team building. Challenges during the day to regain excitement in young kids -Pods are determined by enable skilled wrestlers to keep challenges even they will all still practice together 80% of the time)
National Dual Team will be funded by both Sponsors, Alaska USA Wrestling and partially by wrestlers - Compete at Western Regional Junior Duals for 1 st 3 years - Invite outside teams i.e...canada etc. to duals in Alaska - Age groups: start up priority goes to Cadet and Juniors - Add middle school Folkstyle team if in budget(pocatello same time) - Maintain Same uniform kept By Team Alaska Director issued every year to Head Coach - Team Stays at Dorms to minimize cost - Sponsors for Uniforms - Use Dual Team Coaches to assist Western Regional Coaches with Western Regional wrestlers
After 3 years National Dual Team will be funded by both Sponsors, Alaska USA Wrestling and NOT WRESTLERS - Juniors will Compete at USA Wrestling s Junior National Duals - Cadets will Compete at USA Wrestling s Cadet National Duals - Schoolboys/G will compete at Schoolboy/G National Duals - Maintain Same uniform kept By Team Alaska Director issued every year to Head Coach - Team Stays at Dorms to minimize cost - Sponsors for Uniforms

Approaches to getting the word out Let kids with experience share, coaches are expected to sell their ideology. - Identify the kids that go to camp - Have the kids at one location of high traffic so other kids want to hang out and ask questions - Put kids in the New Uniforms at the table - Pay the kids for the day - Any kid that sees another being raised to a higher level will want to know why, how and can he do it. - stands and tables needs to be at as many tournaments as possible. We shouldn t wait till states to get kids attention. Sponsorship Banners spread the word to other people and lead to why my company isn t on there. - Attempt to have them at every tournament and at State. Could we go to venues like state fair????? - A full year is need to get sponsors to committee and follow through with showing that we did what we said we would do. Need returning support
Example
To better the whole state of Alaska Wrestling Get National Dual Team to USA Nationals Duals Produce more National Champions and All-Americans at the older kids level Make Team Alaska the one place kids want to be during the summer
