1 Beginning of the XTORT FAMILY CRUZEIRO was our big breakthrough after 20 years in the business. But that was 23 years ago and XTORT sold more milk & cheese for us than any other doe ever. CRUZEIRO WAS OUR BIG BREAKTHROUGH! For our first eighteen years no one ever went over 4100 in 305 here and then CRUZER did 5110!!! She had a burptear in the stomach wall. Also, for two years, she walked on three legs. We thought she would die giving birth. Her December 92 baby went to the TRAILS END herd. She radically broke all our records. But the udder by four years old was not showy enough for a show herd. That IS a V from the ADGA Appraiser and her dam is a GCH. She blew away the herd mainly because she was strong in the last four months. CAE positive and skinny for her last two years st BUCK $525 by CHAINS p.22 PURCHASED by ANDREAS GARZA 97 2 ND BUCK $1395 PURCHASED by CHERYL BEICHYL/PHIL KNIPPLE They were happy with their KRONOR babies st BUCK GCH++*B CAPRIKORN JUDGE S KRUGERRAND LA-91 is 2005 SAANEN TOTAL BUCK, and All-Time SAANEN TOTAL BUCK. ATLAS was a giant who could be ridden into the ring. Frances Szasz, a brave little Quaker lady, rented a van and drove from New York to Missouri by herself to get DRAMBUIE. We had a disastrous test on Oct. 20, 2009, but XTORT held her milk. Maybe she likes to eat soggy round bales out in the rain. Her sister lives in Canada now. Sold all her buck kids to dairies that do not register. A long history behind this doe. We got an employment application from a person working in the Likuni Boys School in Africa. He became our herd manager and later started his own unregistered herd with our stock. When one of his does, PEPPER, went 5,000 on DHI, we got her dau. That was VANILLA, who completely lost one rear foot but kept on trucking with a wide mammary.. XTORT was for people who love goats who love people. She was the only kid to break out of the kid prison to follow you around while you do chores. As of her death she was first in in our herd in lifetime milk, fat and protein. And we have been on DHI for forty years. Butterfat of Second place doe only 697!! XTORT s mammary milked way down. This means she should get an e for udder texture. XTORT was not a big doe, making her milk records even more remarkable. XTORT S DAU CUMIN IS OUR BEST MILKER.. PREGNANT - THANK YOU GOD! - FEBRUARY NINE YEARS OLD! But aborted. HAZELNUT has the highest PTAM of any doe listed on the USDA-DHIA Genetic Evaluations for December 2017, which you can find by going to ADGA.org, clicking on performance programs, clicking again on performance programs and scrolling down to the word ELITE. Now the discerning buyer will note that her name starts with an H. That means she s only 2-years-old. That means she s only had 1 lactation. That means the reliability of that monster PTAM is low. WE WILL TAKE ALL THE DONUT DAUGHTERS WE CAN GET. In September 2016 the beautiful mammary was a perfect size - for a mature doe. We said What that means is this awesome doe s kids will be a good deal for dairymen. Because the mammary will grow too big for the American Show Goat Assn scorecard by the time she is two. So she will never have the really high placing that drives the prices up. She has had a case of mastitis her entire yearling lactation that we tried to treat simply by remilking her. But that didn t work. HER NUMBERS WOULD BE EVEN BIGGER WITHOUT THE MASTITIS. The first three tests of her two year old lactation have beautiful SCC counts. So, the dry treatment worked!
