She is a 3/4 sister to Elende. The pair are very similar, with Elendrea being a bit larger, with more body and substance. Drea's rear udder and teat placement were the best we've had, with tremendous height, width and smoothness. She has had test days over 20 lbs, and has maintained excellent production late into her lactation. Drea sadly lost one side to enterococcus mastitis in Even though she was milking lbs, from the remaining side, we finally did a complete mastectomy on her to stop the risk of her shedding any bacteria. She will remain as a valued brood doe. Though she likes to have multiple buck kids, she kidded with triplet does in 14, and we kept all of them! They are now all fresh and are very exciting. She is also a wide, strong and long bodied doe. Of all our Saanens, she has the type and style of quintessential dairy strength that I admire most. She has a strong and correct udder, not our fanciest, but has good teat placement, a correct medial and high rear udder. Add in high production and you can see why she is one of our favorites. At last we were able to take Euterpe out and she relaxed and enjoyed herself. The result? 3xGCH, 1xBUOB and 2xBIS!

She s medium sized, but has placed 1 st -3 rd in some large classes this year, including the very competitive Washington State Fair. She was bred back to kid a little earlier, so had a shortened lactation, (our idea, not hers!) but at 3,000 lbs she is just where we want a first freshener to be. SG TEMPO PASSA LIRA 2*M s- +*B des Ruhigestelle Element born 3/15 American ID538 d- SGCH des Ruhigestelle Riah *M 2-4 FS89 VEEV (first freshener) % % ext xGCH & BJDIS Lira is so strong in general appearance that we were a little disappointed when she freshened with a correct but not fancy udder. Then she had a test day of 16 lbs as a first freshener, and we decided that udder looked pretty dang nice! Like her dam, Lira has a nice flat lactation curve and looks like she will just improve with age. If you are into easy production, this is the doe to watch. She s become one of our larger does, with a deep and wide body. With her strength, power, and beautiful udder, she won 2x GCH while milking an extended lactation last year. She freshened this year with 17 lbs of milk in a big, beautiful udder and finished her SGCH. She s not a fan of shows, so now she gets to stay home and work.

She had so many stages growing up that we eventually just ignored her and let her grow. After freshening as a 2 yr old, she was still just average, but slowly came into production in the first couple months, and developed a very beautiful udder milking lbs as a first freshener. She is now strikingly tall, long and level, with a high wide rear udder, and easily finished her GCH in her first two rings last year, followed by a 2 nd at Nationals! And, she milked over 3,500 lbs as a first freshener. Good things come to those who wait! s- +*B des Ruhigestelle Trademark born 11/27/15 (Fern s birthday!) And yet easily my favorite for her dairyness, style and near ideal general appearance and mammary. She wasn t our highest scoring, biggest, or even highest placing yearling, but I liked her enough to choose her as our yearling for nationals. What a fun class, and during the week she received more attention in the pen than any other doe. Talker is not only beautiful, she inheritied an alpha S1 casein B allele from her sire, and is a high protein doe as well. This will be a fun doe to watch grow up! TEMPO PASSA ELENWILLI s- *B Tempo Passa Eryx born 3/15 American d- SGCH des Ruhigestelle Elenwe 10*M % % proj xGCH, 1xRSGCH, 3x1st Willi was one of our disappointments last year when she freshened with a mummy kid. No milk at first, but gradually more, and pretty soon she was milking 6-8 lbs. Not enough, but it did show her will to milk, so we gave her another chance. She s a big strong doe (aka fat ) that shows enough promise to keep. She freshened normally in January and is doing well, but still has a lot of weight to work off. However, when we uddered her up for a local show, she has an incredibly long foreudder under that weight, quite possibly the greatest lateral extension on the place.

TEMPO PASSA TRICK KNEE (fresh April) s- *B Tempo Passa Catch The Wave born 3/17 American d- GCH des Ruhigestelle Funny Bone 12*M Trick Knee (aka Broke Neck ) is one of those crazy accident prone kids. We decided we had better freshen her before she did something even worse! It was a good choice, as she has a lovely udder, is milking a sensible 7 lbs as a yearling, and hasn t gotten into any trouble since she kidded.
