2 Savanna s River City Reader Page 2 Big Meadows Highlights This year, Big Meadows sponsored a T-Ball team in Savanna. The T-ball team visited Big Meadows on June 22nd and played some ball for the residents. Pictured above is 5 members of the team (left to right) Colton, Alayna, Raegan, Allie, and Mary with all three coaches: Trinity Solomon, Connections Unit Director; Tonya Edwards, Lead Restorative Aide, holding the team s mascot Rabecca; and Blake Kerkove. Alayna, Raegan, and Mary are children of employees of Big Meadows. Below are pictures of the children playing a little T-ball game and taking pictures with the residents. We all loved seeing the little ones having fun.

4 Connections Unit Highlights On Friday, June 9th the Connections Unit held the June birthday party for the residents. In picture 1 is: (from left to right) Vernetta A.; Betty K.; and Joyce M.
