7 HOUSE OLYMPICS On May 4th, Middle School took part in the annual House Olympics as the final portion of the year-long House Cup Competition. They competed in activities based on the Olympic sports of biathlon, curling, skeleton, speed skating, hockey, and more. Kolbe House won the Olympics followed by Alphonsa, Pio and Goretti. Pio House claimed the House Cup for the second year in a row by accumulating the most points over the school year.

8 IN THE CLASSROOM During the month of May we celebrate our mothers and Mary, the Mother of God. On Thursday morning Mrs. E's Pre-K3 class invited their moms to join them for Muffins with Mom. The moms enjoyed songs, gifts the students had made, and refreshments. On Friday, the second grade led the student body in the May Crowning at all school Mass.

9 SUMMER OPPORTUNITY St. Louis Learning Disabilities Association invites students to attend the 2018 Summer Workshop Series. Study skills courses are available for students in grades 5-6 and 7-8. This course promises to help students discover how they learn best, improve their reading comprehension, strengthen note-taking and study skills, as well as gain tips and tricks to organize and be more confident. You can sign up at or call Ursuline Academy Summer Sports Camps are designed to provide the studentathletes in our community with a foundation of fundamental skills, knowledge, character and leadership development, plus a love for athletics. Recognizing that while skills and drills are critical to the improvement of an athlete, making the sport FUN is essential to developing the passion for the game. With nine different choices, we hope that athletes take advantage of the wide variety of athletic opportunities and register for multiple sports. This type of cross training not only helps to develop overall athleticism; it keeps sports fresh and exciting. Every camp at Ursuline Academy is directed by the head coach in that sport. In addition, the assistant coaches, along with current and former top performers from the program, work with the athletes to make sure they have the fundamentals, focus, and fun to improve their games. Age levels are based on grade levels for the UPCOMING school year. Every sport has different age group offerings, so read the camp description carefully. To register go to: d478-11e7-9af6-6b95bc3248fe SLUH is offering a Summer Enrichment Academy(SEA) for high-achieving boys and girls. This is a fun, challenging academic experience. Session One: June 11-June 22 Session Two: June 25-July 6 (no classes on the 4th) SEA 6 (for students entering 7th grade) offers Acting, Physics or Pre-Algebra SEA 7 (for students entering 8th grade) offers Storywriting, Algebra and STEMestry On line registration is open now.
