National SINGLES Program Changes: Local Singles Boards COSTS increase from $120 to $160 (average $20 entry fee) National qualifiers will be awarded single occupancy in Vegas Increased travel assistance to attend the event New 8-Ball Orange Skill Level tier for SL 6s only Price increase effective 2013 for 2014 Nationals Ladies National Championship: 2013 Ladies NTC WILL BE THE LAST QUALIFYING EVENT! Will become pre-registered event similar to Doubles/Masters Championships NEW 8-Ball 3-Point Scoring System: updated with options, applies to all teams effective 2012 Summer National Wheelchair Challenge: moved to take place during National Singles event (from National Team event) Any appeals to bye laws that result in point changes must be reported within a week after posting online. Rules Reminders (existing rules) Forfeit Points in an individual 9-ball are 15-0 during regular session (only 20-0 during playoffs or LTC) Mark TABLE SIZE on Scoresheets With locations that have varying pool table sizes, this affects skill levels. 3 Team Captain Responsibilities Be in control of your team s actions Collect the weekly team fee and any membership monies Have members complete membership applications (SIGN PLAYER VERIFICATION FORM!) Make sure scoresheetsare printed for league night and sent back the following day Read and understand the Team Manual Read and understand the Local Bylaws Weekly League Procedures (effective 2012 Summer Session) Review Online Updates Review E- Mail Updates Print Scoresheets Online Make Payments Return Scoresheets Weekly League Procedures (effective 2012 Summer Session) Print Scoresheets Online (You must be logged into an APA Online Account.) From select Member Services & Stats from the left menu. From the top menu of Online Member Services, select Scoresheets. Select your Team, the Weekin which you are playing, print your team s and/or Opponent s, click PREVIEW. Open with Adobe Acrobat Reader and File > Print. Return Scoresheets After League Play (Use one of the following options to return scoresheets.) 5 2013 Ladies 8-Ball LTC Qualifiers Day of Play Title 2012 Summer Fall Session 2013 Spring Session Saturday Division Winner Playoff Winner (Yaybiesvs. Newbies) 2 nd Chance LTC Qualifier Teams who are not Division Winners or Playoff Winners but are runners-up against an already qualified team have a 2nd Chance to qualify for the South County Local Team Championship (LTC)! 1 out of every 3 or 4 teams who qualify for this event will advance to the LTC. * Runner-up team qualifies for LTC The LAST EVER Ladies 8-Ball LTC will be held Saturday, June 15, 2013 Both 8-Ball and 9-Ball team single elimination tournaments will be held.
