7 Cheer Competition General Rules: Cheers must be clean Groups must be prepared and ready to perform There will be 2 performance rounds. Round 1 everyone. Round 2 Top 3 from round 1. Groups perform during an allotted time on Saturday afternoon beginning at 2PM. Top 3 will perform before dinner around 5PM on Saturday. Practice schedule will be posted in the gym. (one group to practice at a time) Good sportsmanship is expected the entire weekend. All music must be submitted beforehand and approved. Round 1 Rules: Each group will have 8-10 minutes to perform Must have 2 cheers and 2 dances Must alternate the routine. Cheer, dance, cheer, dance or vice versa. Top 3 scores will advance. Round 2 Rules: Each group will be given 4-6 minutes to perform Must have 1 cheer and 1 dance Either cheer or dance can be used from round 1 performance but not both. Must have 1 new cheer or dance to perform in round 2.

15 Skills Competition 6 9 year old Free Throw Compeon Loca on: Courts 1, 2, 3 (use both sides of the courts) Ball assistants: those needed to rebound and reset balls between shooters. (Need 2 assistants per court one per side of court total of 6) Compeon Leader: Calls the beginning and ending of the compeon round and keeps track of the shoots per shooter on the score card. (Need 1 per court) Explana on of Compeon: Each team will present 2 of their best free throw shooters to compete. The two will shoot a total of 20 shots (10 each) The scores (best of 10) will be combined for a total score for the team of 2 players. The winners will move on to Final compeon. A er the first round, Capt. Taylor will receive the score cards and call the winning teams to compete for the Final compeon / year old 3 point Compeon Loca on: Courts 5, 6 Ball assistants: those needed to rebound and reset balls into the racks between shooters. Par cipant will start at any rack when the whistle blows. 5. Both feet of the shooter must be behind the 3 point line in order for the shot to count. 6. The shooter with the highest score will win the 3 point contest. 7. The racks are reset and the mer is reset for the next compe tor. 8. Score will be added together for each team overall score. 8. In the event of a e for first and second place, a shoot off will be done. Same rules apply.
