Please call the UClub Front Desk at to make your reservation today! We are thrilled to welcome you and your families to the grandeur of the University Club for our annual Easter Brunch. Large tables are welcome! Welcome the new leader of the culinary team at the University Club, Chris Noonan. Chris was born in Arkansas but lived in Texas, Connecticut, Indiana, and Arizona throughout his childhood. He first came to Pittsburgh when he went to school at Pennsylvania Institute of Culinary Arts. During this time he completed an extern-ship at the Game Creek Club in Vail, Colorado where he served the likes of politicians and celebrities such as Larry Bird and former NYC mayor Michael Bloomberg. After coming down the mountain and completing his degree, Chris stayed in Pittsburgh where he found culinary happiness in the Big Burrito Group doing work with Casbah, Soba, Warhol Museum and Phipps Conservatory. From there he held positions such as the Kitchen Manager for The Cheesecake Factory and the Executive Chef of McCormick and Schmick s. One of Chris most proud accomplishments is starting ROAR Social House in Allentown, Pa. Located in a beautiful historic building in the heart of town, both ROAR s kitchen and menu featuring locally sourced meat, chop, and seafood have Chris to thank for it s tasteful design. It was here Chris reconnected with our UClub general manager Robert Reese who brought him to us! When the chef coat comes off, you can find Chris enjoying a leisurely round of golf or a competitive tennis match. He is also an adventurer who likes to hit the ski slopes and practice archery. Chris, father of two, says his son, 19, and daughter, 14, have two favorite meals: Red Curry Salmon and Heaven on a Stick. For all of those who wonder what Heaven on a Stick is, you ll have to stop into the club to find out!
