General Overseeing of the Team Primary liaison between the coach and parents Primary contact for the team, internal and external; management of all incoming and outgoing communica*on Provide access *me for skaters/parents to express concerns Work with and support the coach in efforts to achieve the highest team mo*va*on possible Managers should remain with the skaters un*l parents/guardians arrives, or other suitable arrangements have been made Provide supervision and appropriate discipline to all skaters while auending prac*ces, mee*ngs, compe**ons and when traveling Handle team responsibili*es at compe**ons which may include music registra*on, ska*ng draws, team photos, bed checks, team meals, etc
4 2. Financial Responsibili*es Provide input in sewng budget Maintain financing and accoun*ng for the team Collect fees and payments Complete deposit sheets for treasurer Maintain accurate Slush Fund records for the team. These records should be available for the parents/skaters to view at any *me.

Administra*ve Responsibili*es Par*cipate as the team rep with the Synchro CommiUee mee*ngs Provide informa*on to team members and parents about on and off ice schedules, mee*ngs, registra*ons, fundraising, compe**ons, travel, etc Provide team with team roster and phone/ list Maintain accurate and complete records for the team including: registra*on forms, medical emergency waivers, health card numbers, birth cer*ficates, team list, etc. Prepare newsleuers and calendars in consulta*on with coaches. Inform skaters/parents of any changes promptly.

Equipment and Social Convener Maintain and purchase team supplies as required, including first aid kit, sewing kit and skate tape Maintain, clean and repair team apparel Social events plan in coopera*on with the team/ club and coach Order team pictures Collect all team equipment and prepare an inventory at year-end
7 Responsibili*es at Compe**ons 5. Responsibili*es at Compe**ons Oversee the team s daily schedule during the event as discussed with Coach Book reserva*ons with restaurants, off-ice spaces or conference rooms as needed. Handle team responsibili*es including the picking up team packets from the registra*on desk. These will include ska*ng schedule/ order of skate, dressing room assignments, and possibly team photo informa*on Ensure the Manager s bag is stocked, and dresses, *ghts and hair accessories are clean, repaired and compe**on ready Take team records as required including team lists with Skate Canada numbers, proof of skater s birth dates, etc. Pre-Compe**on Checklist document

Communicate and coordinate with parents regarding drop-off and pick-up of skaters for the compe**on day Organize lodging for overnight compe**ons Organize, with your food mom, the food needed for compe**on day(s). Assist with team promo*on and skater recrui*ng Oversee public rela*ons, publicity and media rela*ons
10 SUGGESTED CONTENTS: General Kleenex Wet Ones Portable washcloths/an*sep*c hand wash Sanitary pads/tampons Garbage bags large & small Safety pins assorted sizes Masking tape Sewing kit (for hair, dresses and *ghts) 2-3 needles, 2-3 pair of small scissors Ska*ng Supplies Clear tape for taping skate laces Skate guards 2 or 3 pair Extra skate laces 2 towels to wipe skate blades Mul*-purpose screwdriver
11 SUGGESTED CONTENTS (con*nued): Hair Stuff Gel and/or hair spray Hair nets, both dark and light Extra hair elas*cs Thread and blunt end needle for sewing in hair and scrunches/hair pieces GliUer sprinkles (if used) Make-Up Kit Eyeliner for each skater Lips*ck for each skater Eye shadow to share each skater needs own applicator Blush Blush brush 2 large Extra Eyelashes (if used) *or whatever your teams make-up need are First Aid Kit (should include) Band-Aids, steri-strips Cleanser for cuts (bac*ne) Gauze wrap (Kling, and tensor) Gauze 2 x2, 3 x3 Polysporin, an*-sep*c cleanser Meds: including gravol (15 mg chewable and 30 or 50 mg tablets), Advil, Tylenol, throat lozenges
12 **expect to modify your own team s *meline to meet your own club needs and situa*ons** SPRING/SUMMER MONTHS Organizing review the previous season and evaluate the successes and opportuni*es for improvement (budget sewng should be included) Goal sewng set goals to accomplish in the upcoming season and what is needed to accomplish these goals Tryouts/Workshops - holding workshops will help you establish which level and number of teams for the upcoming season
13 LATE SUMMER / EARLY FALL Team commitments / plans for the compe**ve seasons begin Create contracts defining roles/responsibili*es for the coaches, athletes, parents and team managers Paperwork for the team Order team clothing: prac*ce oujits, compe**on dresses, team warm-up apparel, *ghts, etc. List of compe**ons the team will be entering, both non-qualifying and qualifying
14 OCTOBER / NOVEMBER Compe**on registra*on watch deadlines Make travel plans for the upcoming season transporta*on, hotel, schedules Schedule Exhibi*ons, monitoring session with judges DECEMBER / JANUARY Finalize the travel plans for the qualifying compe**on
15 FEBRUARY If your team qualifies for the Na*onal Championships, prepare budget, hold parent mee*ngs, more fundraising events, etc If your team does not qualify, decide upon sending to a final non-qualifying compe**on look aler the paperwork, etc MARCH Na*onal Championships If your team did not qualify, consider sending a coach to observe the compe**on Evaluate season and take a few weeks off to relax before making preliminary plans for the next year!
