Building a special project? Why not bring it to the next meeting to share and let the gang view and discuss your project. Don t forget the Bus trip to Udvar Hazy on May 11 th. The reservation form is included in the newsletter. Please call Jim to make sure that seats are still available before mailing your form. Next monthly meeting will be May 6th at the field. Why not come early and bring a plane to fly. Henry will be presiding at the meeting due to my absence. A special thank you to Harry Capper with his presentation on joint health at the last meeting, along with some nifty tool ideas! The members approved the following events over the summer months. All forms of flying will take place during these picnics- but the emphasis will be on the following: June 15 th - Picnic- Fun Cub Day July 13 th - Picnic- Gliders Aug 17 th - Picnic- Helicopters and multi-copters Hope to see you at the next meeting! 2 MEETING MINUTES April 1, 2013 KRCS Meeting The April 13 th meeting of the KRCS was held at the Hidden Hangar at 7:00 pm. There were 23 members present. President Sam opened the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. The minutes were approved upon motion by Dan McNeil and seconded by Glenn Don Epler gave his report which was approved upon motion by Verna and seconded by Jim Geiger. Don Epler reported that the field looks great and will be rolled shortly. Jay Wilkinson was accepted into the club as a new member. Jim Geiger announced that the May 11th bus trip to The Space and Air Museum is filling up rapidly. A few seats are still available so get yours soon. It was decided that we will have a picnic Fun Fly on June 15 th, July 13 th (Glider), and August 17 th (Helicopter,Quadrocopter). Bracketed aircraft will be featured but all aircraft are welcome. Our next meeting (May 6 th ) will be held at the field. Harry Capper gave an extremely interesting and informative presentation on Lower Joint Heath. He explained his personal success with different sleeping positions and exercises Winner of the Raffle was Don Epler. The meeting adjourned at 7:45. Respectfully Submitted Walt Hiester, Secretary.
