2 SKF in Malaysia has been sponsoring e winning school of SKF Meet e World tournament held in Negeri Sembilan to play in e Goia Cup since SMK Dato s Abdul Samad, 2018 champion of e qualifying tournament to e Goia Cup. Meet e World is SKF s largest CSR ( Corporate Social Responsibility) project whereby local SKF companies host football tournaments. It is also e qualifying tournament for e Goia Cup. So far, SKF has given e opportunity to 3700 children in 42 countries to travel to Sweden to be part of e annual celebration of you and soccer. SKF is e main partner and sponsor of e Goia Cup. This one-week tournament takes place in Goenburg, Sweden in July every year. The tournament has been going on for some 30 years and every year it attracts around 1700 teams from 80 nations around e world. This year, SMK Dato Abdul Samad team represented e nation playing amongst 195 team across 35 nations in e Boys Under 14 category. SMK Dato Abdul Samad showed true sportsmanship spirit roughout e 5 matches at ey played and scored a total of 9 goals!

4 Noing can stop em from winning as ey played against e Swedish, British and e nd Mexicans. They however lost to e Bulgarians in e 2 knockout stage (1/32 final) wi e score of 0-3. The same team, SKF Bulgaria played in e finals wi Lizzy Football Club from Ghana and Lizzy FC emerged as e Champion for Boys Under 14 in e Goia Cup is year. SMK Dato Abdul Samad coach, Abdul Hamid bin Mukdan said We came here determined to give our very best. This is e first time our school won e SKF Meet e World and erefore, as champions we were given e opportunity to play football in an international arena representing SKF and Malaysia. We feel extremely proud at our boys made it is far is year!
