2 NATF The National Axe Throwing Federation (NATF) was formed in 2016 to service the rapidly emerging sport of axe throwing on an international level, and facilitate competition between throwers belonging to member organizations. Our vision is to create broad and standardized competition amongst players, while providing support for membership through a mandate to promote universal safety, sportsmanship and competitive protocol. The NATF and its member organizations have received extensive media attention from both local and national outlets such as The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, The Atlantic and BBC World Service.
