4 Club Totals 1 st WI Muskies Inc had a total of 753 lunges logged!!! or above were caught!!! Gil Hamm 2017 Gil Hamm will be held at the Lake of the Woods again this year. Dates are from the 19 th of August to the 26 th of August. Teams are being confirmed.

6 Musky Clubs Alliance License Plate A petition form is going around for a special license plate for the Alliance club. It will feature a Muskie on the plates as the specialty item. If you have not signed it, get a hold of Tom Riedel. March Speaker Jeremy Smith Jeremy has been fishing since he was old enough to hold a rod and reel. He started guiding for Muskellunge in college at Gustavus Adolphus. Jeremy has worked in almost every element of the business: magazine sales, television sales, magazine writing and editing, television editing and producing, tournament organization, still photography, videography and on camera talent to name a few of the hats he has worn. April Speak John from Lake X Lures Rice Lake Meeting Another meeting is being planned for the Rice Lake area. The thoughts at this time are to hold another meeting, and a chapter outing later in the summer. Chippewa Valley Muskie League The 2017 Musky League signup will be held at the May meeting at the fish fry. Contact Alex Swanson or Jason Smith for information. 8 41 st Annual Muskie Tournament We will start our tournament planning meetings on the 22 nd of March at 6 PM at Jack s house. If you have any ideas or are interested in helping out, please contact Travis or Don. We are also looking for more donations to help support our tournament, meetings, and other events. If you know an organization or anyone that would like to donate, please contact any of the board members. 37 th Annual 2017 Spring Classic Mark Your Calendars! The Headwaters Chapter of Muskies, Inc. is holding their 37 th annual Spring Classic Muskie Tournament on June 9 th June 11 th. Eagle River Chain of Lakes For more information, visit: February Speaker Josh Borovsky held a seminar on open water tactics at our February meeting. Josh shared some tactics that he uses to fish open waters during different times of the year. He also shared with us some of the lessons learned and new tactics that have proven to work to haul in more fish.
