1 Volume 10, Issue 1 Official Publication of Flagler County Sportfishing Club January, 2009 JANUARY 07 Monthly Meeting 7:30 PM Guest Speaker Chris Herrera 27 Directors Meeting 7:00 PM 31 Flagler County Home Show by President John Raybon What a turn out for the Holiday Party 140 people. Good food, dancing and fun. For those of you that missed it shame on you. I would like to thank everyone for their generosity for the Toy s for Tot s. We had two volunteer fire fighters from the Palm Coast Fire department there to receive the toys. They arrived in there own vehicle and there were so many toys they had to call for a back up vehicle. The fire department sent a bigger truck to pick up the toys, a hook and ladder truck. They thanked us for the 8 plus extra large bags of toys. They had to stuff them in the back of the cab not sure where the extra men road on the way back to the station. FEBRUARY 01 Flagler County Home Show 04 Monthly Meeting 7:30 PM 24 Directors Meeting 7:00 PM MARCH 04 Monthly Meeting 7:30 PM 14 FREE CLUB County The Spots Tournament The member of the year awards went to Muriel Fallon and Chuck Durkee. Congratulations to the both of you for being outstanding members over the years and volunteering when ever ask and even when not ask. THANKS. 24 Directors Meeting 7:00 PM All general meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month at the Elks Club in Palm Coast I made a mistake in the 2009 Schedule, the February meeting is on 4 th not the 6 th it is the first Wednesday of the month. Sorry for the mistake. I have included a copy of next years budget on the back page were the minutes are normally printed. Don t forget the Flagler Home Show is January 31 st and February 1 st. We are still needing people to help work the booth. I have morning and afternoon shifts for each day.
