1 Y ea!!! Summer is finally here, school is out and we are ready to let the summer fun begin! We are hitting the ground running by starting off with the Don and Perrin Aken Benefit this Saturday, June 2 nd. Thank-you to all who are helping in any way to make the fundraiser a success! I know that Don and Perrin sincerely appreciate all of your prayers, donations and concern for them. Moving right along we will again have Burger Night at the pool every Friday evening in June, complete with tasty frozen Margaritas and frozen pink lemonade. Burgers will be served at the Pool/BBQ Area from 5:30 to 8:00pm. We will also hold a regular Happy Hour on June 8 th in the Club House, and our regularly scheduled Bridge and Book Club Meetings. Don s Jr. Camp will be held June th. You still have time to sign up your aspiring golfers to learn from the best! Our Member/Guest Tournament with a Million Dollar Shootout, Helicopter Drop, Dinner and Dance will be held June 22, 23, and 24 th this year. Invitations went out at the beginning of May. Let us know if you did not receive one and we will get one to you. Entry form due date is Friday, June 15th. We hope you and your friends will be able to join us for a fun filled weekend! All are welcome to the Saturday evening dinner and dance. However, you do need to let us know ahead of time so that we can give an accurate headcount to the caterer. If you don t care to eat with us you can still come out and listen to music by the Cadillac Blues Band. Please let me know if you would like to help. For a guaranteed good time, make your July 4 th Celebration plans with us. The board voted a member could use a club cart IF AVAILABLE at no charge for ONE WEEK while their cart is being repaired. The member is to pay for the rental cart after one week. The Board expects us to adhere to this policy. Please help to enforce this policy as necessary. 12 CREDIT POLICY Accounts 30 days past due will have their charging privileges suspended until their account is paid in full. Once the past due balance is paid, charging privileges will be reextended. Accounts 60 days past due will be posted and members will not be allowed to use any Club facilities until their account is paid in full. Please be aware that it is illegal to bring alcoholic beverages onto, or remove alcoholic beverages from, the premises for any and all activities held at the Brenham Country Club. This is in accordance with the TABC (Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission) regulations which govern our alcoholic beverage license.
