2 Thank you for considering helping Silver Lining s special herd. It costs approximately $6,000 a year to care for each of our fantastic horses. This includes board, feed, dental, veterinary, and hoof care. Each of our horses is of vital importance in making a difference in the community, impacting lives of kids and adults. Horse Sponsorships are extremely important as they help provide for the backbone of our program: our incredible therapeutic horses. Each sponsor is important to each horse! Your monthly contribution makes them happy! Meet Our Horses: Strawberry the spotted member of our herd, but she is our star making hundreds of kids happy throughout the year. She is very special, sporting cute little white spots all over her entire body. Samson a very talented boy who loves attention and hugs. He always wins hearts with his big, expressive eyes, asking you to give him a giant hug. Shiloh started as a very skinny little rescue horse, but turned into the cutest Christmas pony. As the shortest member of our herd, she gets all the short jokes. Sargent standing as the tallest member of our herd, he is a giant teddy bear. Gentle Giant is the perfect name for him as he loves cuddles and of course, treats. Whiskers the most colorful member of our herd, he has one blue eye and one brown eye with a big personality. He loves treats more than anything in the world. Athena the youngest member of our herd, she is a rescue that was on her way to slaughter when her owner stepped in and rescued her. She loves treats and loves to cuddle with anyone that will let her.
