However, in order to take any CHAPS UK Finals qualifications animals must be CHAPS Registered and owned and shown by CHAPS Showing Members; for PUK & Winter Restricted Finals see CHAPS Rules; memberships and registrations must be made within 14 days of this show to be valid. Run under CHAPS UK rules and regulations as per current CHAPS UK Members Handbook (plus any subsequent relevant rules changes/updates) and all relevant CHAPS UK Championship Show Rules. This Show is a QUALIFIER for: CHAPS Championship Finals 2011 classes 1-18, 24-27, 28, 29, 32-39, 40-46, BSPS Winter Restricted Finals 2011 classes 1-4, 9-14, 24-27, P.UK Summer Finals 2011 Classes 30, 31, 40, 41, 46 Show Secretary: MEGAN PAYNE, c/o Little Acorns, Bryn Lane, Ridley Wood, Wrexham LL13 9US. 7 Don t forget the Young judges Competition CHAPSUK Open to CHAPS UK members who have attained their 8th but not their 23rd birthday before1st January of the current year. WHAT WILL YOU HAVE TO DO? Four ridden animals (various types); the class will be judged as an open ridden class of mixed types. You will be given CHAPS UK marks sheets which will be submitted at the end of the class. You can make notes. STAGE 1: Ride out and exhibits pulled in any order. STAGE 2: Individual Shows (Young Judges will NOT ride exhibits). STAGE 3: Conformation (Groups of 2/3 - grid formation). Each group of young judges gets 3 minutes to look around the animal, this is timed. STAGE 4: Show interview with the 2 panel judges who were also judging the class. INTERVIEW Interviews will be 5-10 minutes each and very informal, covering: Your final class placings, and why; Basic Rules of CHAPS UK. ENTRY FEE 5.00 per Young Judge. PRIZES Champion Individual Young Judge - will receive the Tara O Hara Trophy kindly donated by Mr & Mrs W Hamilton, and a FREE Membership for the following year with CHAPS UK. 2nd-6th placings will be awarded in the Individual Young judges Competition.
