Animals will be appraised out of the pens and vendors will be required, as a condition of entry to the sale, to display the completed appraisal on the animal's pen. Entries from halter led animals only. Animals are sold subject to the Society's sale rules. Vendors are advised to note, in particular, the following provisions: Each animal forward must be exposed for sale by auction before any private sale shall be permitted or recognised by the Society or the auctioneers. The vendor must be present for sale by auction any animal catalogues for sale. where animals catalogues are not brought forward, except with good reason as determined to the satisfaction of the Council of the Society, the Society shall reserve the right to refuse entries at subsequent Longhorn sales. Vendors may not enter the same animal at both the Melton Mowbray and Worcester Autumn sales in the same year, but are free to enter different stock at both Order of Sale: 1st, 2nd & 3rd placed males in each class will be sold in that order, followed by the remainder of the class in catalogue order.
