2 ALGEMENE INLIGTING EN REëLS 2018 * ALMAL WORD VRIENDELIK VERSOEK OM NIE BY EN IN DIE STALLE TE ROOK NIE OM SODOENDE DIE RISIKO VAN BRANDGEVAAR TE BEPERK. Alle perde (5jr en ouer) moet kwalifiseer op Streekskoue 1-5 plasing (na BFN 2017 tot voor BFN 2018) uitsluitend handklasse en Nuwelingsklasse en Junior perde, OF n Plasing ontvang het onder eerste 3 plekke op twee Klubskoue waar minstens 50 perde ingeskryf was. 1. SLUITINGSDATUM vir inskrywings is 5 Maart (Geen nuwe inskrywers sal verder na hierdie datum ontvang word nie, slegs n verandering of n vervanging van n perd wat reeds ingeskryf was sal toegelaat word by die skoukantoor.) Indien ENIGE inligting ontbreek van n perd of vertoner op die aanvanklike inskrywingsvorm, sal dit as n INSKRYWING beskou word en later gekorrigeer word en die betrokke fooi daarvoor gehef word, soos in punt Slegs SKRIFTELIKE inskrywings wat in alle opsigte korrek en volledig en wat voor of op die sluitingsdatum (5 Maart 2018) ontvang is tesame met die korrekte bedrag geld, sal in die SKOUPROGRAM opgeneem word. 2.1 Elke Inskrywer moet n dokument getiteld ONDERNEMING DEUR INSKRYWER onderteken. Sodanige ondertekende dokumente moet dan die inskrywing vergesel. Geen inskrywing sal aanvaar word indien sodanige ondertekende dokumente nie die inskrywing vergesel nie. Die oorspronklike ondertekende dokument of n afskrif daarvan of n faksimilee-afskrif daarvan is aanvaarbaar, onderhewig aan die voorwaarde dat die plig op die inskrywer wat die inskryfvorm onderteken rus, om die oorspronklik ondertekende dokument te bekom en vir die Kantoor beskikbaar te hê indien die Kantoor insae daarin sou verlang. Indien die oorspronklik ondertekende dokument nie beskikbaar is indien sodanige insae verlang word nie, kan deelname van die betrokke afrigter en/of vertoner en/of eienaar verbied word. 2.2 Alle wysigings moet op skrif wees en deur die inskrywer onderteken wees. GEEN TELEFONIESE WYSIGINGS of SMS E / WHATSAPP S SAL AANVAAR WORD NIE. 2.3 Vir gerieflikheidshalwe en om die lede tegemoet te kom kan n rekening-fasiliteit ( n TAB ) geskep word by die Skoukantoor waar die lid n minimum van R5000 moet inbetaal om te gebruik vir klasse, veranderinge en transaksies gedurende die skou. Ten einde van die skou kan die krediet uitbetaal word of op die rekening van die lid geplaas word om jaarlikse fooie ens. te dek. Indien fondse/krediet uithardloop by die skou moet nog n betaling gemaak word minimum R INSKRYWINGSGELD IS R PER PERD VIR DIE EERSTE KLAS DIT SLUIT DIE PERD SE STAL IN. DAARNA IS DIT R100 PER KLASSE WAARVOOR VERDER INGESKRYF WORD. R STALFOOI PER EKSTRA STAL WAT BESPREEK WORD Daar sal nie geld terugbetaal word aan inskrywers wat in tydelike stalle staan nie. Indien u per tjek betaal, moet dit uitgemaak wees aan: SAALPERDGENOOTSKAP VAN SA. Indien u die gelde direk wil deponeer is die besonderhede: Standard Bank - Takkode Rekening nr (Die bewys van betaling moet die inskrywings vergesel) GEEN INSKRYWINGS SAL AANVAAR WORD WAT NIE DEUR DIE NODIGE BETALING VERGESEL WORD NIE. Inskrywings word gepos aan : SAALPERDGENOOTSKAP Posbus Bloemfontein Tel: Faks: Die Genootskap se BTW NR of Geen vooruitgedateerde tjeks sal aanvaar word nie en terugbetaling van inskrywingsgeld sal onder geen omstandighede gedoen word nie. Daar sal n kaartmasjien tydens die skoutyd beskikbaar wees by die skoukantoor. GEEN TJEKS SAL TYDENS DIE VERLOOP VAN DIE SKOU AANVAAR WORD NIE. 2.5 Inskrywings vir die Kampioen van Kampioene, Driegang en Vyfgang, word nie deur die Genootskap hanteer nie en inskrywings vir hierdie klasse word nie op die inskrywingsvorms ingevul nie. (Hierdie inskrywings word direk by die Afrigtersvereniging se beampte gedoen by die skou.)

3 3. Inskrywings in OUDERDOMSKLASSE moet vergesel word van n afskrif van die vertoner se ID-DOKUMENT of GEBOORTESERTIFIKAAT. 4. GEEN PERSOON met enige uitstaande gelde op sy/haar Genootskap/Subunie rekening sal aan die Nasionale Kampioenskappe mag deelneem nie. (Hetsy hy/sy n vertoner / eienaar / mede-eienaar / afrigter of hanteerder van n perd is.) Enige uitstaande rekeninge van deelnemers, wat verskuldig is aan die 2 aangewysde veeartse, moet dadelik en tydens die duur van die skou vereffen word, anders kan dit van die prysgelde verhaal word. 5. Maak asseblief seker dat perde wel in die naam van hul WETTIGE EIENAAR GEREGISTREER is. Inskrywings in die skouprogram sowel as die aankondigings sal gedoen word volgens rekords in die kantoor en is dit die plig van die wettige eienaar om toe te sien dat sy/haar rekords korrek is. Alle inligting word aanvaar as korrek te wees, soos op die dag wat die inskrywingsvorm ontvang is. 6. WYSIGINGS VAN INSKRYWINGS: Alle wysigings en inskrywings tydens die skou, koste beloop R50 en MOET SKRIFTELIK geskied voor 18:00 die dag voor die klas plaasvind. GEEN UITSONDERINGS SAL GEMAAK WORD NIE EKSTRA KLASINSKRYWINGS / VERVANGING VAN PERD (het reeds n skounommer) Die fooi hiervoor is R50-00 plus die gewone klasfooi van R = (R150) NUWE PERD KLAS REEDS INGESKRYF, BESTAANDE PERD WORD VERVANG MET N NUWE PERD Die fooi hiervoor is R skounommer R100, (= R300) en moet SKRIFTELIK geskied voor 18:00, die dag voor die klas plaasvind VERANDERING VAN KLASINSKRYWING (KLASNOMMER OF PERD VERANDER) Die fooi hiervoor is R50-00 en moet SKRIFTELIK geskied voor 18:00, die dag voor die klas plaasvind. Verandering van Vertoners sal gratis gedoen word. L.W: Indien n Vertoner nie verander word nie, sal n boete gehef word van R Elke persoon wat tydens die Nasionale Kampioenskappe n perd vertoon, insluitend elke groom, moet n lid van die Saalperdgenootskap wees, en moet n lid van hul Subunie wees. Die kostes verbonde aan die LIDMAATSKAP: (Vertonersfooi) is R960 vir volwassenes en R220 vir kinders, 18 jaar en onder. Die INSKRYWER moet verseker dat elke persoon wat perde vir hom / haar vir die stalle vertoon, n skoulid fooi betaal. Handklasse: Hanteerder moet n skoulid wees, maar aanjaers en helpers het nie nodig om skoulede te wees nie. n Vertoner mag meer as een perd vertoon in n handklas, maar moet n inskrywingsfooi vir elke vul betaal. 8. Die kantoor-ure sal as volg wees: Op Saterdag 21 April 2018 vanaf 10:00 tot 15:00 Op Sondag 22 April 2018 vanaf 13:00 tot 16:00 Vanaf April 2018: 07:00 22:00 ( n halfuur na laaste klas van die dag) **21:00 tot 22:00 (Oop vir inskrywings van perde wat daagliks kwalifiseer in klasse na 18:00). Op Saterdag 28 April 2018 sal die kantoor oop wees vanaf 07:30 tot 21:30 om skounommers in te neem. Op Sondag 29 April 2018 sal kantoor oop wees vanaf 08:00 tot 12:00 om skounommers in te neem. 9. SKOUNAME WORD GLAD NIE TOEGELAAT NIE. Die perd se registrasienommer en geregistreerde naam moet op die inskryfvorm aangetoon word. Alle perde se DNS/ouerskap moet bevestig wees voordat hy/sy mag deelneem. Handklasse: Geen vullens sal ingeskryf kan word na 5 Maart 2018 tensy die geboortekennisgewing, DNS verslag met ouerskapverifikasie en betaling reeds ontvang is deur die Genootskap en teen die skou ten volle geregistreerd is nie. 10. Prysgeld word slegs aan Inskrywers uitbetaal, nie aan elke deelnemer nie. Prysgeld word in die bankrekeningnommer wat op die inskrywingsvorm aangedui word, inbetaal. 11. SKOUNOMMERS beloop R per nommer waarvan R50 terugbetaal word tydens die uitbetaling van die prysgeld. R45 gaan vir dwelmtoetse en R5 vir donasie aan die National Horse Trust. Die R50-00 sal egter nie aan die inskrywer terugbetaal word as die nommers enigsins beskadig is, gevou is of geknip is nie. NOMMERS MOET BY DIE SKOUKANTOOR INGEHANDIG WORD, nie later as Sondag 29 April 2018 voor 12uur.

4 SKOUNOMMERS - TERUGBETALINGS SAL SAAM MET DIE PRYSGELDE GEMAAK WORD NIE BY DIE SKOU NIE 12. Alle klagtes moet SKRIFTELIK by die skoukantoor ingehandig word. n Bedrag, soos van tyd tot tyd deur die Raad bepaal word, is betaalbaar vir elke klag wat ingedien word. 13. Die misbruik van BRANDBLUSSERS en gebruik van KLAPPERS is ABSOLUUT VERBODE.(Brandblussers mag slegs in geval van brand gebruik word.) n Oortreding van hierdie VERBOD kan tot gevolg hê dat verdere deelname aan die Kampioenskappe verbied word. 14. ALLE GROOT KAMPIOENSKAPSKLASSE moet gekwalifiseer word EN n inskrywingsfooi, van R350 moet betaal word. Vir die Vyfgang Groot Kampioenskapsklas is die inskrywingsgelde R550. PLESIERPERD KAMPIOENSKAPPE en KINDERRYPERDKAMPIOENSKAPPE moet eers kwalifiseer en ook n fooi van R350 betaal. 15. Groot Kampioenskapsklasse vir AMATEURS word vertoon volgens AMATEURREëLS. 16. Alle PLESIERPERDKLASSE is oop t.o.v alle ruiters behalwe professionele afrigters. 17. Die NATUURLIKE MAAN- EN STERTKLASSE is oop vir alle ruiters. 18. Perde wat in klasse vir die Nasionale Kampioenskappe ingeskryf word en nie in daardie klasse gaan skou nie, moet GEKANSELLEER word by die skoukantoor. Versuim om so te doen voor 18:00 die dag voor die klas plaasvind, sal lei tot n BOETE VAN R wat van prysgeld afgetrek sal word. 19. Alle persone SKOU OP EIE RISIKO en die Saalperdgenootskap/Subunies en Bloemskou aanvaar geen verantwoordelikheid vir enige verlies van, of skade berokken aan persone, perde, voertuie of toerusting of enige ander verlies of skade van welke aard ookal nie. 20. Alle inskrywers en vertoners is gebonde aan die reëls en regulasies asook die etiese kode van die Genootskap soos vervat in RULE BOOK en enige bylae. Die genoemde boek is op die webblad van die Genootskap beskikbaar en is die Engelse weergawe die amptelike stel reëls: Sien ook die afdeling oor FEI verbode middels: en veeartssertifikate: ENIGE PERSOON WAT NIE DIE DOKUMENTE OP DIE WEBBLAD KAN VIND NIE, MOET DIE KANTOOR DIREK KONTAK BY / OF saddle@studbook.co.za EN DIT SAL AAN U VOORSIEN WORD. 21. Dit bly die verantwoordelikheid van die inskrywer/vertoner om, nadat n veearts n perd behandel het, die veearts sertifikaat na die amptelike veearts te neem. Dit is ook die verantwoordelikheid van die genoemde persoon om die amptelike veearts se toestemmings / diskwalifiseringsbrief te ontvang by die amptelike veearts alvorens die perd in n verdere klas vertoon mag word. Die ASF (Africa Saddle Horse Futurity) skou onder die reëls en regulasies soos vervat in die Rule Book en bylae. Die veearts kan enige perd nomineer om getoets te word vir verbodemiddels. 22. Daar is vertoners wat jaarliks BROMPONIE/MOTORFIETSE na die skou bring en dit gebruik om tussen die stalle rond te beweeg. GEEN PERSOON onder die ouderdom van 16 jaar word toegelaat om met die bromponies rond te ry nie. Volwasse persone word ook versoek om die gebruik tot die minimum te beperk aangesien dit van die perde ontstel en voetgangers se beweging belemmer. QUAD/VIERWIEL-MOTORFIETSE WORD VERBIED OP DIE SKOUGROND, EN OOK TUSSEN DIE STALLE. HONDE OP DIE SKOUGRONDE, VOOR EN GEDURENDE DIE SKOU, MOET AAN HALSBANDE WEES, TE ALLE TYE! 23. GAZEBO S OM DIE BAAN. Aangewysde area rondom die baan sal in 3 x 3m vierkantige blokke (die grootte van n standaard gazebo) afgemerk word. Tente sal wel toegelaat word, mits die tentpenne binne die afgemerkte grense bly. Premium-Gazebo-pakette is beskikbaar by die R9700 Kontak Amanda Williams Sel: epos, ( amanda@oshpharm.com ) vir n gewaarborgde staanplek. Dit sluit in n 3 x 3 meter staanplek, 1 x A-Parkering en 1 x Klasborg. **Let wel, daar is n beperkte aantal plekke beskikbaar. Afrigters met groot inskrywings kry voorkeur. Koste per gewone staanplek beloop R5700 en bestaan uit n 3x3 meter spasie en 1 x A-Parkering. Die staanplekke is beperk en die skoukomitee behou die reg voor om die getal plekke aan te pas en om plekke toe te ken. ALLE BEDRAG MOET BTW BYGEVOEG WORD.. **ALLE LOSIES EN GAZEBO S MOET TEN VOLLE BETAAL WEES OP DIESELFDE DAG AS INSKRYWINGS

5 (5 MAART 2018) OM BESPREKING TE VERSEKER. 24. Inskrywers moet asb die kantoor skakel om vas te stel watter stalle aan hulle toegedeel is. Kos- en waterbakke moet saamgebring word vir perde wat in tydelike stalle staan. Daar sal nie meer geld terugbetaal word aan inskrywers wat in tydelike stalle staan nie STALLE: Aangesien daar jaarliks n tekort aan stalle is word die volgende reëling getref. Indien n inskrywer betyds ingeskryf het en daarna beide die perde en stalle skriftelik kanselleer (vir die herverdeling aan ander vertoners) voor of op 20 Maart 2018, sal die fooi terugbetaal word aan die inskrywer tesame met die uitbetaling van prysgeld. Let wel dat bogenoemde nie aangewend kan word as n krediet tydens die skou nie. 25. TOEGANGS- EN PARKEERKAARTJIES Kaartjiekontrole vanaf 23/04/2018 Elke persoon wat die skougronde betree moet in besit van n geldige toegangskaartjie wees. Die toegangskaartjies kan aangekoop word vanaf die Genootskap se skoukantoor en u kaartjiebehoeftes moet aangedui word op die inskrywingsvorm. Volwasse, Kinder en Groom kaartjies is geldig vir die hele week van die skou. Daar is n BEPERKTE AANTAL A-parkerings beskikbaar. Die skoukomitee behou die reg voor om getal plekke aan te pas en om plekke toe te ken na goeddunke. LET WEL: Voertuie wat op die A & E -Parkering staan sal beperk wees tot die volgende tye om die parkering te betree of te verlaat: tot 10 minute voor die aanvang van die eerste klas elke dag; Tydens middagete; en 10 minute na die verloop van die laaste klas elke dag. Voertuie sal nie toegelaat word om deur die hoofhek na Parkerings A & E beweeg nie aangesien dit die klasse sal ontwrig. Motorwagte sal toegang beheer. ALLE KAARTJIES kan vanaf Saterdag 21 April 2018 by die Saalperdskoukantoor afgehaal word. Kaartjies mag nie gedupliseer of gefotostateer word nie dis onwettig! Oortreders sal beboet word. 26. ELEKTRISITEIT en APPARATE. Alle vertoners en inskrywers word versoek om so veel moontlik gastoerusting, in plaas van elektriese toerusting, na die skou te bring. Daar word jaarliks probleme ondervind met kragonderbrekings as gevolg van te veel elektriese apparate wat in die stalle gebruik word. Alle elektriese ware moet 3 koord wees geen 2 koord apparate of drade sal toegelaat word nie. U word versoek om GEEN SWEISMASJIEN vanaf die stalle se kragtoevoer te gebruik nie. U sal u eie kragopwekker vir hierdie doel moet verskaf aangesien die kragtoevoer van die stalle nie aan u behoeftes sal kan voorsien in die verband nie. Terreinkontrakteurs sal inspeksie hou en waar elektrisiteit misbruik word, sal u self daarvoor verantwoordelik gehou word. U MAG ONDER GEEN OMSTANDIGHEDE SELF ENIGE EKSTRA ELEKTRIESE AANSLUITINGS VANAF DIE BESTAANDE PUNTE MAAK NIE. Bloemskou vereis dat elke inskrywer n Brandblusser (poeier) by sy stalle moet hê. 27. Daar word GEEN VOERTUIE tussen die stalle toegelaat nie. Hoë voertuie beweeg tussen die stalle deur en breek die drade van die luidsprekerstelsel af. Daar moet ook nie oor die gras van die oefenringe, of ARENA gery word nie. Nie net word die besproeingstelsel beskadig nie, maar word daar merke in die gras agtergelaat en die ander rasse wat hierdie bane as arena gebruik, word daardeur benadeel. 28. PROGRAM 28.1 Vir alle Kampioenskapsklasse moet daar gekwalifiseer word en daar kan nie direk vir hierdie klasse ingeskryf word nie. Addisionele inskrywingsgelde beloop R per Kampioenskapklas. Die inskrywingsgelde vir die SA GROOT KAMPIOEN VYFGANGPERD beloop R Alle kwalifiserende klasse (afdeling A & B). Perde word ingeskryf in die kwalifiserende klasse en die inskrywingsgelde van R per perd word betaal. Die klas se plasings sal nie prysgeld ontvang nie, maar wel rosette. Die agt perde wat geplaas word kwalifiseer vir sodanige Ouderdomskampioenskapklasse wat op Vrydag en Saterdag plaasvind. Daar hoef nie weer inskrywingsgeld vir die sodanige Ouderdomskampioenskap betaal te word nie. Indien n vertoner twee perde in dieselfde klas inskryf bv. Driegang 4 jaar oud, word u aangeraai om die een perd in afdeling A en die ander perd in afdeling B in te skryf. Die kantoor behou egter die reg om perde vanaf een afdeling na n ander te skuif om te verseker dat daar ewe veel perde in die twee afdelings is.

6 Indien n perd wel in n A- of B-klas gekwalifiseer het, MOET DAAR ASB WEER VIR DIE FINALE KLAS INGESKRYF WORD. Daar sal egter nie weer n inskrywingsfooi betaalbaar wees vir die spesifieke finale klasse nie ASF Die Futurity performance perde moet by die kantoor inskryf vir die kwalifiserende klasse (Siertuig, Driegang en Vyfgang). Die normale skounommer van R100 is betaalbaar (verwys na punt 11), asook die stalfooi van R200, maar geen inskrywingsgeld is betaalbaar vir die 3 kwalifiserende klasse nie. Die wenners wat deurdring na die Groot Kampioenskapsklasse se inskrywingsfooi sal R200 beloop per inskrywing Die komitee behou die reg om enige klasse waarin daar te min of te veel perde ingeskryf is te kombineer of op te deel, die program en/of klas tye te verander, soos nodig geag word. 29. GEBRUIK VAN OEFENRINGE. Geen perde en karretjies, voertuie of motorfietse sal voor die aanvang van die skou of na die afloop van die skou op die gras in die ARENA toegelaat word nie. Geen voertuie of motorfietse sal enige tye op die gras in die VERSAMELPERK toegelaat word nie. Geen perde sal toegelaat word om verder in te beweeg of in die Beeste-ringe te oefen nie. Oortreders sal beboet word. 30. Klasse wat met!! (en/of in rooi) gemerk is, se inskrywings gaan gekontroleer word. Indien daar nie genoeg deelnemers in die klasse is nie, sal die klasse verval op die skouprogram vir die toekoms. 31. INSKRYWERS MOET DIE VRYWARINGS- EN ONDERNEMINGS DOKUMENTE VAN DIE GENOOTSKAP SOWEL AS DIE VAN BLOEMSKOU PERSOONLIK ONDERTEKEN VOORDAT ENIGE SKOUNOMMERS OORHANDIG WORD. DIE INSKRYWER TEKEN DIE DOKUMENTE VIR ENIGE PERD, HELPER, VERTONER, EIENAAR EN ENIGE ANDER PERSOON, WAT ONDER SY/HAAR NAAM INSKRYF. DIE INSKRYWER WORD BESKOU AS DIE VERANTWOORDELIKE PERSOON IN ENIGE EN ALLE OPSIGTE. - DANKIE, ONS MAAK STAAT OP U SAMEWERKING

7 GENERAL INFORMATION & RULES 2018 * TO AVOID ACCIDENTAL FIRES PLEASE DO NOT SMOKE IN OR NEAR THE STABLES. All horses (5yrs and older) must qualify at Regional shows (after BFN before BFN 2018), excluding Hand classes and Novice classes and Junior horses or a placing of a horse under the top 3 places at a Club show where more than 50 horses were entered. 1. CLOSING DATE for entries is 5 TH March (No new entrants will be accepted past the closing date, only a change of a class or a replacement of a horse in a class that has already been entered will be accepted at the show office.) If ANY information of the horse of an exhibitor is omitted on the INITIAL entry, it will qualify as an ENTRY and will be corrected later with the penalty as in item Only WRITTEN entries which are correct in every respect and which are received before/on the closing date, accompanied by the correct entry fee, will be eligible to appear in the SHOW PROGRAM. 2.1 Every Entrant must sign a document titled UNDERTAKING BY ENTRANT. Such signed documents have to be attached to the entry form. No entry will be accepted if such a signed document does not accompany the entry. The original signed document or a copy thereof or a fax copy thereof is acceptable, subject to the condition that it is the duty of the entrant who signed the form to obtain the original document and have it available to the office, should the office request it. Should the original document not be available when so requested, participation of the particular trainer and/or exhibitor and/or owner can be prohibited. Every Entrant and Exhibitor MUST complete the REGISTRATION FORM in order to be registered on the show program. 2.2 All amendments must be in writing and signed by the entrant. NO TELEPHONIC OR SMS OR WHATSAPP AMENDMENTS WILL BE ACCEPTED. 2.3 For ease and convenience an account facility or Tab can be obtained where members can make an upfront minimum R5000 deposit payment. This will cover any additional payments or funds during the show. Should the Tab run out another payment should be made and if in credit refunds will be made after the show or the member can leave the funds as is for future year funds etc. 2.4 ENTRY FEE PER CLASS, STABLE INCLUDED, AMOUNTS TO R FOR THE FIRST CLASS THEN R100 PER CLASS THEREAFTER. Please take note that the Stable fee of R200 is applicable for every stable being used as a tack room. Please indicate the required number of stables on your entry form. No refund per stable will be made after completion of the show to horses in the temporary stables. The entry form must be accompanied by the appropriate funds. If payment is made by cheque, it must be payable to SADDLEBRED SOCIETY of SA. NO CHEQUES WILL BE ACCEPTED DURING THE SHOW. 2.5 Entries for the Champion of Champion classes, Three- and Five-Gaited, must be forwarded directly to the Trainers Association. All these entries must be done at the representative of the Trainers Association at the show. Entries must not be included in the entry form of the Breeders Society. 3. Entries in AGE DIVISIONS must be accompanied by a copy of the exhibitor s ID-DOCUMENT or BIRTH CERTIFICATE. 4. NO PERSON with any outstanding balance on his/her Society / Sub Union account will be allowed to participate in the National Championships. (Whether he/ she is an exhibitor/ owner/ co-owner or trainer or handler of a horse). Any outstanding fees owed to the 2 appointed veterinarians, by any participant or any clients of his/her, must be settled by the end of the show or it may result in being deducted from prize money. 5. Please ensure that all horses are REGISTERED IN THE NAME OF THEIR RIGHTFUL OWNERS. Entries in the show program as well as announcements will be done according to our records in the office and it is the duty of each person to ensure that the horses in his/her possession are correctly transferred into his/her name. All information will be deemed as correct, as received on the entry form. 6. AMENDMENT TO ENTRIES Amendment to entries during the show, will cost R50-00 each and must be done IN WRITING before 18:00 on the day before the particular class will take place. NO EXCEPTIONS. 6.1 EXTRA CLASS ENTRIES / SWITCHING OF HORSES (horses already do have show no s): The cost thereof will be R50-00 plus the class fee of R (= R150). 6.2 NEW HORSE: (Class already entered, horse is being replaced by a new horse) The cost thereof will be R show no R100 (= R300) and must be submitted in writing before 18:00 the day before the event. 6.3 CHANGE OF CLASS ENTRY (CLASS NR OR HORSE) The cost thereof will be R50 and must be submitted in writing before 18:00 the day before the event. EXHIBITORS may be changed for free, BUT failure to notify the office of such changes, will lead to a R FINE which will be deducted from the Entrants prize money. 7. Every person who will be showing a horse, including a groom, during the Championships must be a member (Breeder) or a Show member of the Society. The Show membership (Exhibitor fee) for Bloem Show is R for adults and R220 for children, 18 years and under, and is payable by all NON-Breeders & Show members. The ENTRANT must insure that every person who exhibits a horse under the exhibitors name or his stable s name is a show member. In-Hand Classes: Handler must be a show member, but helpers not. An Exhibitor may show more than one horse but an entry fee for each horse is payable. 8. The show office hours will be: On Saturday 21 April 2018 from 10:00 to 15:00 On Sunday 22 April 2018 from 13:00 to 16:00 From April 2018: 07:00 untill 22:00 (an half an hour after the last class of the day) **21:00 22:00 (the office will reopen for horses qualifying after 18:00 on the same day) On Saturday 28 April 2018 the office will be open from 07:30 to to receive show numbers. On Sunday 29 April 2018 the office will be open from 08:00 to 12:00 to receive show numbers 9. SHOW NAMES WILL NOT BE ALLOWED. Please indicate the correct name and registration number on your entry. Breeding Classes: The birth notification with the DNA results confirming parentage, and payment, should be submitted

9 by the 5 TH March 2018 to the Society, in order for these horses to be allowed to show. NO foals will be entered into Breeding classes after the closing date if all abovementioned information is not AVAILABLE AND ALREADY PROVIDED to the office and the horse is fully registered by the show date. 10. Prize money will only be paid out to the ENTRANT. Prize money will be paid into the bank account number indicated on the entry form. Payment will be done by cheque if the banking details are not provided on the entry form. 11. SHOW NUMBERS amounts to R per number and R55 will be refunded with the prize money pay out. R40 will go towards the drug levy and R5 as donation towards National Horse Trust. If any of the show numbers are damaged in any way, folded or cut, the R55 will not be refunded. ALL NUMBERS MUST BE RETURNED TO THE SHOW OFFICE DURING THE SHOW NO LATER THAN SUNDAY 29 th of April 2018 before 12:00. SHOW NUMBERS - REFUNDS FOR WILL BE PAID OUT WITH THE PRIZE MONEY NOT DURING THE SHOW 12. All complaints must be IN WRITING and submitted to the show office, together with a fee that will be determined by the Council. 13. The improper use of FIRE EXTINGUISHERS and use of FIRE CRACKERS are NOT ALLOWED. (Fire extinguishers may only be used in case of a fire). In the event of a transgression of this PROHIBITION, the guilty person/s may be prohibited from further participation at the National Championships. 14. Exhibitors must qualify for GRAND CHAMPIONSHIP CLASSES and an ENTRY FEE to the amount of R is payable. The Five Gaited Grand Championship class carries an entry fee of R550. PLEASURE HORSE CHAMPIONSHIPS and CHILD S RIDING HORSE CHAMPIONSHIPS must qualify and pay an entry fee of R350 as well. 15. Grand Championships for AMATEURS will be judged according to AMATEUR RULES. 16. All PLEASURE HORSE CLASSES are open to all riders except professional trainers. 17. The NATURAL MANE AND TAIL CLASSES are open to all riders. 18. Omission to cancel a horse entered into a class during the National Championships and then not showing the horse in that particular class, will lead to a R FINE which will be deducted from prize money. 19. All persons SHOW AT THEIR OWN RISK and the Saddlebred Society/Sub Union and the Bloem Show Society does not accept any responsibility for loss or damage to people, horses, vehicles or equipment, nor any other loss or damage of any nature whatsoever. 20. All entrants and exhibitors are subjected to the rules and regulations of the Society as stated in the RULE BOOK and any appendix. The mentioned book is available from the Society s web pages and the English version is the official version: Also see info on FEI substances and Vetrinarian certificates: IF ANY PERSON CANNOT FIND THE RELEVANT DOCUMENTS ON THE WEBSITE, HE/SHE MUST CONTACT THE OFFICE ON / OR saddle@studbook.co.za THESE DOCUMENTS WILL THEN BE FORWARDED TO HIM/HER. 21. It remains the responsibility of the entrant/exhibitor to provide the official VETERINARIAN with the Veterinary certificate after a horse has been treated by a VETERINARIAN. It is also the mentioned person s responsibility to collect the official Veterinarian s approval / disqualification form before such a horse will be allowed to participate in any further classes. The ASF (Africa Saddle Horse Futurity) will show under the rules and regulations as mentioned in the Rule Book and appendix. The veterinarian may nominate any horse to be tested for prohibited substances.

10 22. There are exhibitors who bring SCOOTERS/MOTORBIKES to the show to travel amongst the stables. NO PERSON under the age of 16 is allowed to ride these scooters. Adults who make use of the scooters are to keep the use to a minimum for they might upset some of the horses and pedestrians. NO QUAD BIKES / 4 WHEELERS WILL BE ALLOWED ON THE SHOWGROUNDS OR AT THE STABLES. DOGS MUST BE ON LEASHES AT ALL TIMES. 23. GAZEBO S AROUND ARENA. A designated area next to the arena will be divided into 3m x 3m square stands (the size of a standard gazebo). Tents will be allowed as long as the tent pins are inside the indicated markers. Sponsorship packages are available. Premium Gazebo stands at a cost of R9700 consisting of a 3 x 3 meter stand, 1 x A Parking and 1 x Class sponsorship. Contact Amanda Williams (amanda@oshpharm.com) for a guaranteed stand. Note stands are limited. **ALL STANDS AND GAZEBO S MUST BE PAID ON THE SAME DAY AS ENTRIES (5 MARCH 2018) TO SECURE BOOKING. Trainers with a large number of entries will receive preference. Cost will be R5700 without a class sponsorship and consists of a 3x3 meter stand and 1 x A-Parking. As the stands are limited, the show committee reserves the right to adjust the number of stands as well as allocating stands. 24. All Exhibitors must phone the office to confirm which stables have been allocated to them. People who have been allocated temporary stables must provide their own feed bins and water containers. No refund per stable will be made after completion of the show to people assigned to the temporary stables STABLES: As there is a shortage of stables the following arrangements have been made. If a person s entries were correctly submitted before/on the closing date and the entrant gives the stable/s back to the Society (for redistribution) and cancel the horse/s in writing on or before March 20 th 2018, the fee will be refunded to the entrant together with the pay out of any prize money. The abovementioned refund will not be available as credit during the show. NO more changes to entries after 20 th March. 25. ENTRY AND PARKING TICKETS. Ticket control as from 23/04/2018. Everybody entering the showgrounds will require a valid entry ticket. Tickets can be purchased from the Society s show office and your requirements must be indicated on the entry form. Please note that adult, children and groom tickets are valid for the whole week. THE A-PARKING TICKETS ARE ALSO LIMITED, and the show committee will allocate it on merit. PLEASE NOTE Vehicles using the A and E-Parkings will be limited to the following times to enter and to exit the parking area: up to 10 minutes before the start of the first class every day; During lunch; and 10 minutes after the last class has been completed every day. NO VEHICLE will be allowed to move through the main gate to the A & E Parkings at any other time than mentioned above. Security guards will be doing duty in this area. All tickets can be collected at the Saddlebred show office from Saturday 21 April Tickets may not be duplicated or copied it s illegal! Offenders will be fined. 26. ELECTRICITY AND APPLIANCES. All exhibitors and entrants are called upon to rather use gas appliances instead of electrical appliances. Every year electrical supply fails due to electrical appliances being used in the stables. No two cord electrical appliances or wiring will be allowed, only 3 cord. No welding machines are to be used from the electrical supply in the stables, since the supply is insufficient. Your own generator should be brought along for such requirements. YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO DO ANY EXTRA ELECTRIC CONNECTIONS BY YOURSELF. Officials will inspect the electricity points and you will be held responsible for breaking any rules in this regard. Bloem Show requires every entrant to have a fire extinguisher (powder) at his/her stables.

11 27. NO VEHICLES are allowed amongst the stables. Trucks cause damage to the cables of the intercom system between the stables. Crossing over any of the grass arenas is strictly prohibited since not only the grass is being damaged but also the irrigation system. Breed Societies showing the week after the Saddle Horses will also be experiencing discomfort with tracks in the grass. 28. PROGRAM 28.1 Horses have to qualify for all Grand Championship classes and no direct entry will be accepted. Qualified horses have to enter for Championship classes. The entry fee amounts to R per Championship class. For the SA GRAND CHAMPION FIVE GAITED HORSE, the entry fee will be R All classes that are marked section A & B, are qualifying classes. Horses must be entered in the qualifying classes and an entry fee of R is payable. No prize money will be paid for these classes but rosette s will be awarded. The first 8 horses qualify for such an age Championship class on Friday and Saturday. No additional entry fee is payable for the Championship classes. If an exhibitor has two horses that must compete in the same class e.g. Three Gaited 4 year old, one of the horses can be entered in section A and the other into section B. The office however has the right to change the entries so that an equal amount of horses will be entered in the two sections. If your horse has qualified in an A or B class, PLEASE TAKE NOTE THAT YOU HAVE TO SUBMIT AN ENTRY AT THE OFFICE FOR THE FINAL CLASS. No entry fee will be charged for the final entry of these classes ASF - The Futurity performance horses must enter at the office to register for the qualifying classes (Fine Harness, Three- and Five-Gaited). The normal show number fee of R100 is payable (see section 11), but no entry fee is payable for the 3 qualifying classes. The winners go through to the Grand Championships and will pay a R200 fee per entry The show committee reserves the right to combine classes in which there are too few horses, or split classes if there are too many horses in a class. The show committee reserves the right to edit the program and class times, as deemed necessary. 29. USING OF RINGS. No horses, harnesses, vehicles & motorbikes will be allowed on the grass in the ARENA before the start or after the show. No vehicles & motorbikes will be allowed on the grass in the COLLECTING RING at any time. No horses will be allowed to go any further and are not allowed on the Cattle rings. Offenders will be fined. 30. Classes marked with!! (and/or red) will be monitored. If there are not enough entries in these classes, they will not be available on the show program in the future. 31. EACH ENTRANT MUST SIGN THE INDEMNITY- & UNDERTAKING DOCUMENTS OF THE SOCIETY AND BLOEM SHOW PERSONALLY, BEFORE ANY SHOW NUMBERS WILL BE HANDED OVER. THE ENTRANT SIGNS THESE DOCUMENTS ON BEHALF OF ALL THE HORSES, GROOMS, OWNERS, EXHIBITORS (AND ANY PERSON) ENTERED UNDER HIS/HER NAME. THE ENTRANT WILL BE REGARDED AS THE RESPONSIBLE PERSON IN ANY AND ALL CIRCUMSTANCES. - YOUR CO-OPERATION WILL BE APPRECIATED -
