PALPITATOR - Going for three in a row after winning a handicap at Maisons- Laffitte last time out. Improving 4. CASTERTON - Decent efforts in Group races at Chantilly and Saint-Cloud last month. Must be respected 5. BOY ROYAL - Last of nine in a Group Two race at Chantilly last month. Won a Class 1 race here in August 6. LONDRES - Third to Akihiro in a Listed race at Saint-Cloud last month. Not without a chance today 7. INSTIGATOR - Second to Akihiro on his French debut in a Listed race at Saint-Cloud last month. Not ruled out 8. HUKAMAA - Won a Class D handicap here over 3200m last time out. SOLDIER'S QUEEN - Won two claimers earlier this year but does not look in the same form now 2. TIM CASSANDRE - Won two in a row last month and could easily go well in hat trick bid 3. NURMI - Triple winner from sixteen and good runner up last time at Clairefontaine 4. TAKELOT - Still a maiden but placed in three of his last four and could make the breakthrough 5. KLASEL DE KERBARH - One win from ten runs but looks a little bit out of form now 6. USTIMOS - Is zero from ten and surely has not done enough to figure here 7. SITEAUFAIT - Placed in four of his eleven runs but still will not be expected to win this 8. DEBUSSY BELLEVUE - Has shown little or nothing in sixteen outings and readily chucked out This is hardly an inspiring start to proceedings but something has to win it and the vote goes to (2) TIM CASSANDRE in that case. The gelding is in terrific form right now after notching up two recent wins and should be able to take care of (3) NURMI and the maiden (4) TAKELOT. (1) SOLDIER'S QUEEN might get fourth. 18 Race 2 1. EVIDENCE ALLEN - Beaten six lengths when runner up to a good type at Clairefontaine. Every chance 2. BAYONNE - Third on debut but well behind the likely favourite last time 3. MANSIONSA - Placed in three of her seven but was a cropper last time out 4. HANZIE DES HAZARDS - Newcomer. Dam won once and this is her first foal to race but best watched here 5. SHANNON PEARL - Fifth on debut here last month showing some promise so could be a threat 6. PRINCESS CHASCA - Nothing in three runs and very easy to rule out of contention 7. LOUFUIE - Newcomer. Dam was a maiden and and produced one multiple winner from two foals 8. ROLL UP HAS - Did not make it home on debut but showed promise and could be somewhere involved 9. DEVISE DES ALAMBIC - Unplaced in all three and looks a huge outsider for this 10. PRINCESS WADDI - No form in six outings and looks a complete no hoper again 11. GALAXIE D'ANJOU - Just the one run and does look a huge outsider in this to be fair 12. NO RISK FOR YOU - Newcomer. Dam was a maiden and this is her first foal to race so a watching brief advised There was plenty to like about the debut performance of (1) EVIDENCE ALLEN at Clairefontaine last month when she was a six length runner up to a fair sort and can go one better here now with that experience behind her. (5) SHANNON PEARL also performed with credit on first start so could improve. (8) ROLL UP HAS and (2) BAYONNE looks next best. (1) EVIDENCE ALLEN - (5) SHANNON PEARL - (8) ROLL UP HAS - (2) BAYONNE

20 Race 3 1. BALJAMAN - Very unlikely winner on the evidence so far and outruled 2. KAPELOI - Fell on debut at Auteuil when showing promise and not without a chance 3. MY SECRET - Is zero from thirteen and only making up the numbers in this 4. ECLAIR - Easy winner at Vittel last time having previously shown plenty in two other runs. The one to beat 5. AU PIED LEVE - Placed in last two from four but must improve another little bit 6. THE RECKONING - Off the mark in a claimer two starts ago but this demands much more 7. JENYCHOPE - Three times a winner from nineteen and is oh so consistent if a bit to find 8. LA ISLAMINIMA - Both runs at Compiegne this Spring winning the second of them and has every chance 9. LIT D'ANGE - Placed in two of her three runs and could do so again here Guillaume Macaire definitely holds the key to this juvenile affair with both (4) ECLAIR and (8) LA ISLAMINIMA looking likely to dominate. The former looks to have the edge just now and can get then job done over his stablemate who may need the outing. (5) AU PIED LEVE and (2) KAPELOI can do the chasing home. 21 Race 4 1. LE NAVARO - Dual winner from thirty nine but not the force of old so questions to be answered 2. CARMINOR - Had productive year last season and doing well this time round too 3. DREAMABAD - Great strike rate with nine from forty and must enter this equation 4. PERLY DE CLERMONT - Last of seven wins was a long time ago but a good a good sort with hopes 5. NEWS REEL - Formerly a very nice type and could be up to something like this easier grade 6. BAOURI - Four time winner from twenty nine including at Auteuil last time 7. YO - One win from eleven but has been marked absent for quiet some time 8. YOUMIE - Is zero from six and has shown no ability whatsoever so no chance 9. ULEX DE BALME - Hardly any ability in four runs and has been away for ages so dismissed 10. CALUNE - Won one from sixteen but has failed to complete both starts this term 11. VIZIR DU BERLAIS - Is zero from fifteen and basically has a woeful record now 12. ARISTOLOCHE - Triple winner from thirty seven but looks an outsider to be fair 13. GOLDDY CROWN - Triple winner from forty eight but operating at a lower level 14. ANGELYS - Is a maiden after fifteen runs and basically has no chance after absence There are some former decent types taking to the field here hoping to regain some form at this lower level. (2) CARMINOR looks just about the best of them on current form and is taken to edge out the others who can be headed up by the redoubtable (4) PERLY DE CLERMONT. (5) NEWS REEL seems to have lost his way but this is easier. (1) LE NAVARO for fourth.

SURPRIS DE CHABOTS - Better effort last time at Jarnac when runner up but still well beaten 4. PETRUS LESCRIBAA - Very good fourth on debut at Bordeaux Le Bouscat and a must for short list 5. VIF ARDENT - Well behind Khalmarin last time so needs a big jump up of sorts 6. TRY PLEASE - Just the one win from fifteen and basically has it all to do at this point 7. LE NEUBOURG - Just two pieces of form and hardly inspiring on hurdles debut 8. EL ATILLO - Newcomer. Dam was moderate but has bred three winners from four foals including the smart Bazille 9.
