We would like to think of the show as a South Westland icon and this current committee has worked hard for over a decade to keep your show relevant, interesting and exciting. Our theme of this year s show is Dr Seuss, so Think Left & Think Right & Think Low & Think High Oh, the Things You Can Think Up If Only You Try Dr. Seuss As usual we have some great cash prizes, for both adults and children, for the best exhibit in Wearable Arts or Dr Seuss theme in the Home Industries sections, And Will You Succeed? Unless otherwise stated, entry fee is $4.50 per class and prize money is 1 st $5.00, 2 nd $3.00 and 3 rd $2.00. The committee reserves the right to alter, combine and or reduce prize money amount if classes are lacking in entries. All riders must wear protective headgear while mounted. There is no ground levy but you have to pay your gate entry on the day. Please do not include this with your entry fee. Camping Fee is $10.00 per site please pay with entry, grazing will be provided not on grounds please contact Kelley Molloy or kjmolloy@kinect.co.nz for details Camping ticket will be sent via so please make sure you include an address with entry and print these off and bring them with you. Entries close on the 17 th February 2017 and will not be accepted unless accompanied by entry fee. No Phone, Fax or entries will be accepted. Late entries will incur a $15 late entry fee and will only be accepted at the Show Committees discretion, any late entries may not make the show catalogue. There will be absolutely no entries accepted after the 22nd February For all enquiries regarding entries please contact Janelle Shaw or ms.horses@icloud.com All prize winners must participate in the grand parade at 12.30pm. NOVICE SHOWING CLASSES Snaffle bridle only to be worn. A novice horse or pony is one that has yet to win five classes in any division within competitions provided at any A&P. OPEN SHOWING CLASSES You can only enter one open class per ring. SUPREME EXHIBITS Winners of Supreme Champion Pony, Supreme Champion Hack and classes 206 & 227 are required for judging of Supreme Exhibits at conclusion of ring events. SHOW JUMPING To be non-grading and run under N.Z.E.F rules. Enter a maximum of 3 classes. Beginner class to be run last. Please refer to RAS rulebook for any further rules & regulations. 3
