Greenhurst Road, Nampa ID or c Directions to Sandy's home: From the intersection of Greenhurst Road and Robinson Road turn east on Greenhurst. Go approximately 1/2 mile and turn north onto a private drive. This private drive is the first drive to the north when driving east from the Greenhurst/Robinson Road Intersection. There is a white sign with red letters that says Paso Fino horses by the driveway. 6:30 PM, potluck, bring your favorite dish, 7:00 sharp meeting begins. Final plans for the Expo Southern Comfort will host a booth and need you to volunteer to work. Demos Versatility of the Gaited Horse will be at 9-9:30 Friday and Saturday, The seminars - Recognizing the Gaits of Gaited Horses will be on Saturday 12:30-1:30 pm and Sunday am. Sandy and Nya are planning clinics, playdays, etc. for your education and fun. More information will be given at the meeting Monday, April 9 th. The supplementary rules, which were published in today s Federal Register, require all visitors, permittees and operators to use certified weed-free hay, straw or mulch when visiting or conducting authorized activities on BLM-managed lands in Idaho. The rules become effective on August 20, The BLM will begin enforcing the new requirement on September 19, 2011, to allow time for public outreach and education. This measure is needed to help slow the alarming spread of noxious and invasive weeds on public lands, said BLM Idaho State Director Steve Ellis. It s consistent with existing policies of the State of Idaho and the U.S. Forest Service, so in following these new rules, public land users will join the growing effort in Idaho and other Western states to combat the spread of weeds. At the March Meeting, Brian Combs, Canyon County Paramedic, gave an excellent presentation on Equestrian Injuries. Equestrians at Wild Wild West Wild Wild West Restaurant and Bakery in Eagle features a variety of musicians Friday and Saturday nights. The patrons (and management) include Southwest Idaho horse folks. This Friday BG&D playing western and folk music like Sixteen Tons, and San Antonio Rose.
