1 2018 Scout Fair The Sam Houston Area Council serves nearly 50,000 youth in 16 counties in southeast Texas through dedicated service and leadership of over 20,000 adult volunteers. Scouting is completely funded by the generosity of those that believe in its mission. The council relies on dedicated volunteers to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetime by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Scout Law. We want to express our most sincere gratitude to our adult volunteers and faithful supporters who are engaged with us in developing our youth to be knowledgeable, confident, civic-minded adults who will be our future community leaders. With over 400 booths, there is so much to see at Scout Fair. Share your Scouting memories on social media and remember to tag the Sam Houston Area Council and use ScoutFair2018.
