I am one of Ireland s youngest and most respected up and coming riders, with my results surpassing all other previous Irish riders in this age category. The project was a prototype for the future of empathic media. A world-first Bio-emotional VR experience from Sensum & Red Bull Media House. I was involved in gathering the data and footage on my home track in Rostrevor, the site of the worldrenowned Red Bull Fox Hunt race, enabling users to connect with the real-time emotions of a downhill mountain-bike ride. Using custom-built spherical-lens cameras, Red Bull brought it s world-class media production capabilities to the process, allowing the viewer to look around from the viewpoint of the rider s helmet. To see what I saw; feel what I felt, in a first-of-a-kind bio-emotional VR production.
