The show was well attended and tables from area clubs were full. Bill Lairsey even was able to do a small electric demo hover. It seems that this show may well happen again? Thank you to those members who represented the club at the show on very short notice. 2 IMAC Judging Class reported by Eric Guilmet On February 27, Bill Lairsey and Tom Chabot held an IMAC clinic at Ray and Robin s Hobby Center. Twenty-two pilots attended and Bill and Tom did a great job, This has been my third IMAC clinic and I always pick up a lot of good information on judging, learning the family of maneuvers and my own sequence. You do not need to fly IMAC to attend these clinics because it can help you in judging scale contests and helping with your own personal aerobatic flying. I hope you guys can do it again next year. 6 Novice Night starts Mid-May Skystreakers Training 2010 SCHEDULE 5:00pm to DUSK Starting May 15 the Skystreakers Field in New Gloucester. Come and join us. Have some fun and learn to fly! Great times. Come one, come all! Anyone can fly three times free as an introduction using the club training planes. MEMBERSHIPS 15 years and younger No charge. 16years to 18 years $24.00 per year 18 years and over $70.00 per year Silver membership (Regular at a higher contribution level) $100 per year Gold membership (Regular at a higher contribution level) $200 per year Full Scholarship students No charge Immediate family members living with Full paying member $12 per year Training Fee $20 per year Opening day for the field is expected in Mid-April. 7 PYLON RACING COMING NEXT MONTH CLUB 40 PYLON RACING SCHEDULES 2010 May 22 opening event June 5 and 26 July 10 and 31 August 14 and 28 Sept 11 and 12 All dates are Saturdays. In case of inclement weather, the races will be held on the following day, Sunday. September 11 and 12 will be the final races of the season. In case of any point ties or ties in the standings, the winner will be determined by a one race fly-off. Ray LaBonte (Ray and Robin s) has the Raider Mach 2 Club 40 planes in stock. He also carries the engines. Visit for the rules and regulations of Club 40 Pylon racing and the AMA rules. Come and join us for a day of fun. Racing starts at 9:00 am.
