1 15th International DOCOMOMO Conference Cankarjev dom, Ljubljana Slovenia, August 28-31, 2018 INVITATION FOR SPONSORS AND EXHIBITORS We are pleased to have the opportunity to invite you as a sponsor to contribute to the 15 th Docomomo international scientific transdisciplinary conference in Cankarjev dom, Ljubljana, to take place in August 28 31, 2018 under the title Metamorphosis Continuity of Change. Docomomo is an acronym for DOcumentation and COnservation of MOdern MOvement and is an international non-profit organisation bringing together more than 70 countries from all over the world in studying, renovating and promoting the Modern Movement architecture of the 20 th century. It comprises architects, historians, conservationists, civil engineers and other construction specialists, landscape architects, designers, planners, sociologists and many other professionals dealing with the issues and the destiny of the 20 th century Modern Movement architecture, cities and landscape. This conference is a very special one, as 2018 marks the 30 th anniversary of Docomomo. The organisation was founded in The Netherlands by two Dutch architects, Hubert-Jan Henket and Wessel de Jonge. The headquarters of Docomomo are now in Lisbon, and its chairperson is Ana Tostoes. The first chair of Docomomo Slovenia was Stane Bernik. Since 2004 the chair of Docomomo Slovenia has been Nataša Koselj. This conference is a perfect opportunity to promote companies dealing with architecture, cities and landscape on a highly professional, cultural and international level. EXHIBITION Space rental per m²of empty exhibition space Payment until or on May 15, 2018 Payment from May 16, EUR 330 EUR The exhibition will be organised in the Grand reception hall of Cankarjev dom, where the registration desk will be located and the coffee and lunches will be served during breaks. Exhibitors can rent empty exhibition space (without walls and other equipment) and arrange the booth by themselves or order the exhibition construction in Cankarjev dom (regarding the valid price list). A minimum of 4 m² of empty exhibition space can be rented. Allocation of space will be treated as a first come first served basis (except for the sponsors). All cancellations of participation in the exhibition must be sent in writing to Cankarjev dom. Advertising can not be cancelled after the deadline for submission of materials. All exhibition cancellations received before July 1, 2018 will be refunded 90% of received payment. After this date no payment will be refunded. All the refunds will be carried out after the end of the Congress.
