Here you can find information on the forthcoming 14 th IASL Congress that will take place in Athens, Greece, at the University of Athens, th November In this congress will be presented papers from the entire spectrum on the Sports Law, further more: National Legislation and Professional Sport, Human Rights in Sports Activities, Sports Jurisdictional Order and Negative Phenomena in Sports Activities. In this Congress the central discussion problem will be the science topic: Lex Sportiva and special issues on Traditional Sports Legal Order. I express my best wishes for the success of the congress, and welcome you all in Athens this November. International Sports Jurisdiction Arbitration of Sports Disputes Applicable Law General Information The 14 th World IASL Congress will take place 27 th November at the University of Athens, Central Building (where IASL was founded in 1992) and at the Hotel "TITANIA", from Friday 28 November 2008 to Saturday 29 November The Congress languages will be: English, French and Greek. Abstracts should be submitted to the Congress Secretariat by 30th September 2008 (ca. 300 words, Word 6.0 -or newer versions-format). Authors are invited to submit an extended Ábstract (at least one, but no more than two full pages), accompanied by the relative Abstract Form (attached). The Congress Scientific Committee will select the papers to be announced by 15 th October 2008.

4 The approved abstracts should be followed by the research paper in a full version (footnotes, bibliography) by 15 th November The texts of the 14 th World IASL Congress as well as the Findings of the Congress will be published by the H.C.R.S.L. (EKEAD) in a special edition (Proceedings) and some selected papers will be published in the International Sports Law Review / Pandektis.
