13 8. Map 9. Information for spectators (1 st leg of rally) This is the first time of Rally Rokiškis to be held in such format, therefore spectators can be unfamiliar with the rally location. We can advise which viewing spots you must choose, so organisers can assure the safety and maximum spectators satisfaction of the event. Specially created interesting Spectating Zones with real time information, video monitors and parking should please every spectator. The locations of Spectating Zones are selected for mobility and timing: you can get from one to another quickly, park your car safely and enjoy different view of the track. Although, searching for perfect spot and moving to other zones can get tricky. Majority of roads have tight sideways and some high grass, so there is limited availability to leave cars there. Plan your route earlier to be able to get in Spectating Zone before the stage start. Compact rally schedule and location must bring the best emotions to rally-drivers, but spectators will not be able to follow them stage to stage.

14 10. Special Stages Shakedown stage SS/GR-0 SRD True rally-addicts will be able to see the cars first on the Shakedown stage. This stage is 4,33 km length, located in 5km drive between Rokiškis and Steponys. Passing the village there will be start of the stage (search for byway on left). Tight and tricky track flows around stacks of woods and other obstacles, so the visibility for spectating is limited. Spectators could find side-roads from Steponys village to reach the track. Finish is located near the motocross track.

15 SS/GR-1 GEALAN Length 7,68 km Coordinates: Start E 25º 37'45,2", N 56 º 01'39,7" Finish E - 25º 31'40,7", N 56º 01'17,6" First car Start SS/GR-1 GEALAN 15:40 Stage has mixed road surface. The first 3km of tarmac leads to narrow road in the forest. Tarmac part has rough surface and no sideways, so rally drivers may limit corner cutting. First good spot may be reached on foot around 750 meters from start. It should be interesting to get to Miliūnai village, where S corners are located (1.5km from start). After the tarmac part (3km from start), contestants will enter a forest road, not gravel. Occasionally, some woodtrucks are seen there. The rest of the stage may be found hard to watch: track continues deep into the forest with limited visibility for the spectators. However, spectators could find roads from Steponys or Deksniai villages to the track. But the best and recommended spot is to get to the finish and reach the SS/GR-1 GEALAN by foot (only few hundred meters).

16 SS/GR-2 EGRENA autovisiems.lt SS/GR-3 Eurokreditas.lt Length 11,79 km Coordinates: Start E 25º 41'20,1", N 56º 01'16,1" Finish E - 25º 43'33,3", N 56º 01'50,2" First car Start SS/GR-2 EGRENA autovisiems.lt 16:10 First car Start SS/GR-3 Eurokreditas.lt 17:40 SS/GR-2 is very long stage and competitors will drive there two times. Public area - A (EGRENA autovisiems.lt - Eurokreditas.lt) will be located on the 7 th kilometre where you will be very welcome. Rally fans must remember such names as: Vyžuona, Veduviškis, Pašiliai, Šikšniai, Lukštai, Gyliai. Drivers will start on narrow gravel and enter the forest. Surface there is soft and the road is tight so probably no options for spectators to leave cars or watch the track. There is a road from Vyžuona village (road to Juodupė) which will present few impressive turns only few hundred meters to both directions. It is advised to watch the rally from Spectators Zone in Veduviškis village. Arrive earlier to claim the parking spot, as this contains jumping crests, attractive turns and good visibility. In addition, this Zone s location will allow you to drive to another spots on demand. Speed traps must be added in long straights after Veduviškis on wide gravel road. Another great spot for spectators is in Šikšniai village, where drivers will have some slalom among the farms. On the 10 th kilometre you may find high speed corners with jumps. Find the roads from Lukštas or Gyliai villages to reach them. Also, fascinating views may occur just after the start. Service zone is held after this stage (SS/GR-2 EGRENA autovisiems.lt), but spectators are advised to wait for another stage (SS/GR-3 Eurokreditas.lt), as drivers will get back shortly. Some say, the pause between stages should be minimal, so spectators should enjoy the endless chain of cars.

17 SS/GR-4 KOMATSU Length 6,89 km Coordinates: Start E 25º 36'21,2", N 55º 57'26,3" Finish E - 25º 38'45,4", N 55º 58'27,7" First car Start SS/GR-4 KOMATSU 19:00 Closing stage for the friday, staring on the tarmac in Rokiškis suburb. Public area - B (KOMATSU) created for convenient watching of drivers with gravel tyres mastering the tarmac surface. Shorty after 2km, the surface changes to gravel, which should lead to the speed increase by drivers, as the road is not so twisty. Only few turns on 3 rd and 4 th kilometres must be interesting. Spectators can reach on Šileikiai village from Skėmos road. Also there is a great spot only few hundred meters from the finish, which can be reached on foot. Please park your cars on the sideways, so it will leave free way for competitors after the finish.

18 11. Information for spectators (2 nd leg of rally) Second day of the rally is really fast, long and entertaining. Competitors will have around 95 kilometres to conquer. Therefore, spectators should plan the zones they are willing to reach, which stages to watch. Organisers remind to arrive earlier in Spectators Zones, which assure greatest moments. They were chosen by the experienced rally-drivers. Probably the best option would be to watch stages SS/GR-5 VALVOLINE and SS/GR-7 CBET in the first half of the day and SS/GR-10 VIADA and SS/GR-11 SAMSONAS TRANSMISSIONS in the second. This way spectator could reach Spectating Zones in time and with minimal driving. Of course, active spectators are free to choose stages SS/GR-5 VALVOLINE and SS/GR-8 SKADO MEDIS for watching in the first half of the day and SS/GR-10 VIADA and SS/GR-11 SAMSONAS TRANSMISSIONS in the second. Only thing is choose our special Spectating Zones. Each optiong will provide a memorable experience for each spectator. SS/GR-5 VALVOLINE SS/GR-7 CBET Length 10,48 km Coordinates: Start E 25º 52'28,1", N 55º 58'12,7" Finish E - 26º 00'22,2", N 55º 56'41,0" First car Start SS/GR-5 VALVOLINE 9:50 First car Start SS/GR-7 CBET 12:15 This is quite long stage reaching the border of Latvia, where competitors will drive two times. It is recommended for settled spectators. The start is located near the main road heading to Latvia (Subatė). Organisers insist to drive few kilometres to the Public area C (VALVOLINE- CBET) (Ignotiškis, 1.7km from start). It is hard to describe in words here how much action spectators can see there. One of the most picturesque places of the rally is located here. The road has some good corners ahead too, but with limited visibility and no options to get there by car. Although spectators can reach Tilvikiai village (on the 4 th km) from the side-roads. Then, head to any direction to find desired spot to watch. This speedy stage continues on good gravel, waving on fast corners with some jumps.

19 SS/GR-6 ROKAUTA SS/GR-8 SKADO MEDIS Length 19,33 km Coordinates: Start E 26º 01'00,2", N 55º 54'23,8" Finish E 25º 54'51,1", N 55º 55'16,7" First car Start SS/GR-6 ROKAUTA 10:15 First car Start SS/GR-8 SKADO MEDIS 12:40 The longest stage of the rally, where drivers will compete twice. Spectators are advised to do their homework on planning the watching spots. Hint: try to use the side roads. One is found in Aleksandravė village. There is a parallel road, which helps to switch watching spots: Aleksandravėlė, Baziliškis, Eglinis. Start of the stage is not very welcoming for the spectators: high grass on sides of the track and forest beginning from 2 nd kilometre. Things get better from 5 th kilometre. Spectators may reach interesting turns on foot. Also, there a crossing in Aleksandravėlė, where drivers enters gravel from a tiny forest road (8 th km). Again, some speed traps are necessary for the next part of the stage, as track gets very fast. The track from the 12 th kilometre gets wavy with fast corners. Some spectators may find interesting hairpin corner located in Dideliškės village (road from Obeliai). Also, there is a group of fast corners and jumps around 1km from the finish.

20 SS/GR-9 TRYGG Length 8,21 km Coordinates: Start E 25º 43'54,2", N 56º 01'34,7" Finish E - 25º 43'20,9", N 55º 58'45,2" First car Start SS/GR-9 TRYGG 16:00 Starting in Lukštai village, this stage connects other municipalities: Lukštai, Vaboliai, Kirkūnai, Sniegiai ir Skėmai. Those crossroads are the only availability to spectate this stage with convenient car parking. Its is not recommended to drive in before the closing of the stage, as it will run only once. Tarmac start continues on gravel. There are nice corners with jumps just after the start. It is worth travelling on foot for 1,5km: lovely corner on crossroad with Gediškės (around 2,2km from start). Easy reachable crossroads can be found travelling from Skėmai or Obeliai. Second half of stage has mixed surface, straightens. Spectators should visit Sniegiai, where Spectators Zone is set. It can be reached from Ruzgai (road Rokiškis - Lukštai). There are few connected corners over the crests, which is always astonishing to watch. Finish of the stage is not so attractive to watch, but the drivers may push to the limit for the last few kilometres.

21 SS/GR-10 VIADA SS/GR-11 SAMSONAS TRANSMISSION Length 11,18 km Coordinates: Start E 25º 48'59,0", N 55º 53'32,7" Finish E 25º 41'13,9", N 55º 53'10,7" First car Start SS/GR-10 VIADA 16:30 First car Start SS/GR-11 SAMSONAS TRANSMISSION 17:45 Quite long stage before the short, final 12 th SS. Competitors can secure, strengthen or lose their positions here. This uncompromising rivalry should be great for spectators. Public area - D (VIADA-SAMSONAS TRANSMISSIONS) Three villages, starting letter B: Bajorai, Buniuškiai, Bagdoniškis must be noted. Those places are the easiest to reach to watch the rally. Wide gravel among the fields doesn t give any emotions to spectators. First great place is a right-turn in Bajorai (Crossroad, 0,7 km from start). Following another turn all straights again. There is narrow bridge on a 3 rd kilometre, which may become a tough challenge for some drivers. (look for Vakariai village). Spectators can arrive to double crossroad on 4 th kilometre from side roads. The most attractive spot on this stage for spectators is in Bagdoniškės (arrival from Lašai Rokiškis road). Huge variety of turns just in a short distance may crown this village as the rally center. Spectators can easily park their cars, get safely near the track. Stage finishes with fast gravel turns.

22 SS/GR-12 VALVOLINE Length 5,16 km Coordinates: Start E 25º 38'45,0", N 55º 56'49,4" Finish E - 25º 35'56,2", N 55º 57'32,1" First car Start SS/GR-12 VALVOLINE 18:20 Last and shortest stage of the rally. Spectators may find this location familiar (was 4 th stage), but this time drivers will drive the opposite direction. It starts on wide gravel till the railway crossing followed by a right turn (in Šileikiai village), which sounds great. Later track has few turns, making not eye-catching view for the spectators. There are still some alluring turns on the 4 th kilometre (near Rokiškis boundary) where Spectators Zone can be found public area B (KOMATSU-VALVOLINE). Drivers get on tarmac to finish into the city near the lakes.
