3 1. Welcome to Samsonas Rally Rokiškis Samsonas Rally Rokiškis last year`s debut auto sport event. This year event will be held on 3 4 of August in Rokiškis region. Two day rally fiesta will start in main square of Rokiškis on 3rd of August. Name of Rokiškis asociates with cheese mainly. However area has more to offer for tourists and guests. Region is rich with one of the most beautiful neogothic churches in Lithuania, wonderful ensemble of Rokiškis manor and natural environment with its peaceful lakes. Although auto sport is loved here rally contests haven`t been held for quite a long time. Organizers of last year`s Samsonas Rally Rokiškis broke the silence. New special stages will be full sharp and narrow forest roads, curved and breath taking jumps as well as different surfaces this year. Some of stages will be driven twice. Organizers promise that this year`s stages will be more difficult than they were a year ago. Participants of rally will have to deal with 139 km of gravel stages (97 % of all stages) and with approximately 4 km of tarmac (3 % of all stages) through Rokiškis town.

4 Greetings to sportsmen, friends and rally fans! First ever Samsonas Rally Rokiškis exceeded our expectations last year. Event was praised by sportsmen and spectators also it attarcted attention of international media. Samsonas Rally Rokiškis no doubt hottest event of summer is going to be no worse ever than it was last year for sure. We have prepared a lot of surprises and presents for sporstmen and spectators. I am happy about new partnership which is very important for us when organising contest of such level and spreading name of Lithuania to the world. I am grateful to Toyota representatives and other sponsors for big help setting up an impresive award brand new car for future rally participants R2 class sportsmen. After announcing this news we reached a lot of attention. So this is why we expect intense fight among a lot of sportsmen. I am incredibly happy about continued close collaboration with our name`s partner Samsonas Motorsport. Worldwide partnership of which gives spectators an opportunity to enjoy appearances of famous international guests. I am grateful to municipality of Rokiškis as well as to all the sponsors for close collaboration and understanding while organizing Samsonas Rally Rokiškis. Last year`s Samsonas Rally Rokiškis was definitely successful! This fact binds to improve and get better with every year. Audrius Gimžauskas brought together brand new team last year. We`ve been working very hard and analyzing all the information on what was good and not. This is the reason why this year we feel much stronger. Joyful fact is that this year there will be new more difficult and curved stages. To be honest, I wasn`t satisfied with some of last year`s stages. However, I am glad and not ashamed with new ones. We also are proud of big list of participants from USA, Portugal, Turkey, Finland, Norway, Ireland, England, neighbour countries and even Australia. It is our pleasure to work when we feel support and appreciation of all Rokiškis town. We feel inspired byt their hapiness about biggest event in the region which brings thousands of spectators and hundreds of participants together. That is a huge responsibility which lies on me personaly as well as on the company Samsonas Motorsport. At the same time it is a great event for all our big family. Martynas Samsonas

6 Mayor of Rokiškis municipality invites to the event! Last year Rokiškis region experienced a brand new event Samsonas Rally Rokiškis. Stunning autosport event attracted a lot of rally fans. It`s been a long time since region had so many guests and such a buzz. Unique jump of Vaidotas Žala amazed fans of rally all over the world for almost all year around. I am happy that it becomes a tradition. This year`s event is going to be even more interesting and colourful. Our region is rich with curved roads, wonderful nature and beautiful tradition of manors. In Rokiškis manor you will be able to meet our history and current culture. Manors of Ilzenbergas and Gačionis will welcome you with good cuisine and cosy accommodation. 9 4. Information for participants Rally guide is not an official document. This is and informational publication. All information might be changed. Updates will be available on website Samsonas Rally Rokiškis is a credit stage of following championship: 2018 Lithuanian automobile championship, III event 2018 Baltic Rally Trophy II event Special prizes and nominations Besides of official awards there will be a possibility to participate for special prizes and nominations provided by sponsors of event. Fastest participant in city special stage will be awarded with a Cup of Rokiškis mayor. More information will be provided in Rally Guide 2. Exceeding of speed limit We would like to draw your attention that since the moment when every crew is handled GPS equipment till the moment when equipment is returned speed allowed by law for road vehicles in Republic of Lithuania of every vehicle will be monitored and controlled. This regulation is not applied during competition on special stages. GPS equipment is mandatory when acquainting with stages and during all the competition. Acquainting with stages Acquainting with stages is mandatory for all the crews. Testing all the stages will be possible for no more than twice. Speed allowed by law for road vehicles in Republic of Lithuania of every vehicle will be controlled when acquainting with stages. Speed limit might be reduced by organizer with a help of relevant road signs placed on stages and marked in a road book. All violations made by crews will be traced by GPS system, police officers and official authorities of organizers. Acquainting with stages is only available for vehicles registered by organizers. Test stage (shakedown) Shakedown will be organized on Friday (3rd of August). More detail information will be available in Rally Guide 2.
