We have the honor for the first time to take such a large number of orienteering masters who will compete in competitions LITHUANIAN CUP 2016th. We warmly invite you to come to our region, which is surrounded by beautiful river Nemunas loop, which is the largest and longest Lithuanian river. Take advantage of a unique opportunity to see our beauty of nature, experience the forest smell, taste the dishes of our region, to communicate with friendly people. 4 2nd day :00 MTBO races start 11:00 Foot orienteering start 14:30 Price giving ceremony, lottery and closing ceremony Groups M/W 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 21E, 21S, 21N, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 90. BM/BW 14, 16, 18, E, 40, 50. M/W 10 - marked course. *Participants in OPEN group will have to pay participation fee on registration (there is no need to register in advance). On start will be open from 13:00 to 14:30, from 11:00 to 12:30. There will be separate start station. After finish, participant will be able to see his time, but final results will not be counted. Arrival 1 day Puzonys GPS coordinates of event center: Marking singns will be on the road A16 Marijampole- Vilnius, next to Birstono vienkiemis, there you will have to turn towards Puzonys ( road 3315) 2 day Ingavangis GPS coordinates of event center: Marking signs will be on the road 189 Prienai- Skriaudziai ( towards quarry of Meskapievis. If you are coming from Marijampole city side, marking signs will be on the road A16 ( towards Naujoji Uta)

Author - Audrius Smilgius Land surface forms are medium and small. There are depressions from 15m to 30m. A dense network of roads and paths. Forest mostly with coniferous trees. Runnability and visibility from very good to moderate. There are few bigger marshes which are easy to cross.

Terrain was never used for orienteering before. Land surface forms are medium and small. A dense network of roads and paths. Mixed forest with coniferous and decidouos trees. 9 Other useful information 1st day Parking Parking will be on the road which will be used as a part of runners and MTBO courses! Atention!!! On the arrival please be aware and keep safe speed! Warm up From competition center to start. Start Distance from competition center to start is 700 m. 3 minutes before starting time participants are called to the starting corridor. Each participant is responsible to take right map and control description. Control descriptions You will find control descriptions in the starting corridor and printed on the maps. Clothes You will be able to leave your clothes in bags in the start area, later you will find them in the centre of competiton. Refreshment control There will be one refreshment point in the forest for longer distances (M14, M16, M18, M20, M21, M21E, M21S, M35, M45, M50, M55, M60, W18, W20, W21E, W21S) where you will find water and a special sport drink. After finish you will be able to refresh recovering sport drink and bottles of still water Akvavita.

10 Important!!! Regarding Lithuania Republic law of packaging and recycling you will have to pay 0.10 euro deposit, which will be refundable. 14 Punching system SportIdent with SI-AIR. Awards Prizes for 1-3 places in overall ranking. M21E and W21E groups money prizes. Lottery There will be a lottery after price giving ceremony. Please keep your participation number for it. You can win great prices funded by our sponsors S-sportas, Asics and Ekofrista. You can collect your prices on the day of competition only, if winner will not show up, other number will be picked. Special Notes: Competitors take part on their own risk and responsibility. There will be no risk or insurance covered by organizers. Cyclists are responsable of their own and other participants safety, by LOSF, OSKD safety reglamentations.
