1 Description: TTC s KENDA TENNESSEE KNOCKOUT EXPERT RIDER DAY Sunday, August 28th /- riders entry maximum Park Ferme for Sunday s competition motorcycles TRIALS MOTORCYCLES AND/OR TRIALS TIRES WILL NOT BE ALLOWED FOR SUNDAY EXPERT RACES Two different courses will be used in the day s events First Course: The Short Course is less than one mile long and will be used for a TIMED-HOTLAP to determine starting order of the riders for KNOCKOUT RACE 1 and the 10-lap FINAL. Second Course: The Long Course is approximately 10 miles long. The Long Course will be used in the opposite direction of Saturday s races for KNOCKOUT RACE #1, with additional skill areas added. For KNOCKOUT RACE #2, the course will be used in reverse direction from the Sunday morning race (KNOCKOUT RACE #1) with additional skill areas added. Final KNOCKOUT will be the fastest 10 riders for 10 laps on the short course with additional skill areas added Several skill areas are spectator friendly and relatively close to the START. 2 SCHEDULE (ALL TIMES ARE CENTRAL TIME) SUNDAY, AUGUST 28, :00 A.M. Gates open 8:00-9:00 A.M. Rider CHECK IN/ SIGN UP (AMA CARD REQUIRED) Motorcycles moved to Park Ferme 9:00-10:00 A.M. Rider inspection of Short Course (WALKING ONLY) 10:00-11:00 A.M. Hot lap on short course (1 rider starts every 30 seconds) to determine starting order of KNOCKOUT #1 HOT LAP STARTING ORDER: 25 Riders qualified from Saturday Final KNOCKOUT in finishing order (best first) 30 EnduroCross riders/wild cards in order of Championship ranking (best first 11:30 A.M.-1:00 P.M. KNOCKOUT RACE #1 No pre-running long course allowed All riders in finishing order of hot lap (best first) start 1 every 30 seconds. All riders will race for 1 hour (+/-) on the Long course, inclusive of Saturday s skill areas, with additional skill areas added. This race will be run in the opposite direction of Saturday s amateur qualifying races. 1:00-2:00 P.M. Lunch Break and Autograph Session 2:00-3:00 P.M. KNOCKOUT RACE #2 (NO SPECTATOR ASSISTANCE ALLOWED) Fastest 25 riders from KNOCKOUT RACE #1 will advance into 5 groups of 5 riders A group will start every 5 (TBC) minutes (DEAD ENGINE START!) Starting position determined by times in KNOCKOUT RACE 1 (Each of the top 5 riders leading a group of 5. The 6 th fastest qualifier is the second seeded rider in group one and so on). Long course is used in reverse direction (TBC) of Sunday morning s race for one lap with additional skill areas. Top two riders from each group will advance to FINAL KNOCKOUT :00 P.M. Final KNOCKOUT (NO SPECTATOR ASSISTANCE ALLOWED) 10 riders compete for 10 laps on the short course. (DEAD ENGINE START!) 5:00 P.M.
