5 Role Team Manager Description The Team Manager is a volunteer position within SCU whose purpose is to work with the coaches, parents, team volunteers and SCU management to ensure all the communication and administrative responsibilities of their individual team are performed. You are a critical and vital part of our success!

GOTSOCCER REGISTRATION Registration and Financial Accounts 2016 and prior financial accounts still in Blue Sombrero Parents should be familiar with their GotSoccer logins Family Accounts offer extra registration options GOTSOCCER ADDED FUNCTION FOR MANAGERS Print Medical Release forms FYSA and US Club Concussion Form is electronic, no printout needed CREDIT CARD FEES Passing on the fees with registration ($18K) No fee with e-check

AGE BRACKETS Names reversed, U12 now 12U 12 and under is more clear TEAMSNAP Every team is required to maintain a Teamsnap account DOCs and Staff will have access to all team accounts Communication will be improved LEAGUES For NPL teams - SSL is out, BYSL SQ is in 13U and 14U Girls Travel in FPL (an NPL league) No Guest Players in GCF

9 Up First PHOTOS Take new headshots at early practices or request them from the players Upload to GotSoccer player profiles TRACK REGISTRATION Registration will open by June 10 Updates will be ed, contact parents ROSTERS As rosters are built they will be posted Passes will be generated when photos are complete US Club rosters are generated after FYSA

10 Bank Accounts Chase Bank Use account to receive player team fees used for: Tournament registration Referee fees Coach travel expenses Team-specific expenses Use Chase QuickPay to electronically pay your coach Download statements to spreadsheets Reports due Oct, Jan and Apr - keep track of payments/expenses

12 Team Budget Know your budget! The head coach is responsible for helping determine the team s likely expenses for the year. Determine each player s share and any fundraising goals. Keep good records! Especially for cash transactions. Deposits: From whom, for what, date of deposit, form of payment, check number if applicable. (ATM deposit provides image of check.) Payments: To whom, for what, date of payment, form of payment, check number if applicable. (Checks available free from Chase.) Several team managers have already created useful spreadsheets in Excel they would be happy to share if you need help with record keeping.

13 Coach Travel Expenses: SCU will provide you with a travel policy designed to be easy to manage and fair to both coach and team. League Registration Fees: Paid for by the Club unless coach adds a league League Referee Fees: The Club deposits funds into your account to pay the referees at home games. Tournament Fees: Paid for by the Team Fundraising: Teams are encouraged to engage in fundraising and the Club will help promote events on social media. 21 Player Passes The passes are to be printed out in color on white cardstock paper AND laminated. If access to a laminating machine is not available, self-adhesive sleeves can be found at Walmart, Target & Office Depot. Sleeves are good to use throughout the year. Business card size works best if you print at 95%. FYSA Player passes will be available in the team s GotSoccer account in the Document tab along with your roster. You cannot print individual passes. US Club Player passes will be available from your Kyck account from the Cards menu. You can print individual cards.
