1 The Fifth Annual St. Brother Andre Rick Maloney Cardinal Classic Sr. Boys Basketball Tournament St B.A Friday, Nov. 17 th & Saturday, Nov. 18 th 2017 R.M.C.C. We are committed to continue to represent the St. Brother Andre Catholic High School community with dignity and professionalism as Rick Maloney exemplified as a Teacher and Coach. It is imperative that all players and fans buy into the same philosophy during the tournament. Coaching Staff Coordinator: Mr. K. Moore Cost = $300 All Games will St Brother Andre CHS Tournament Format: 1.0 The Buy-Out Game will begin with this opening prayer followed by the Canadian National Anthem sung by a student / students from the school (St. BA CHS) specifically and the audience in general. Team Prayer which is read prior to every game: We thank you, Oh Lord, for the people who enrich our lives:

2 for those who are always willing to be a sounding board, for teammates who accept us for what we are, for competitors who bring out the best in us and for those who set an example worthy of followed. Amen. Every game in the tournament will involve four full eight minute quarters, stop time and a one minute break between the First & Second Quarters and the Third & Fourth Quarters. Half time will be a five minute break which will allow both teams to retreat to their respective changing rooms, minus one player who is selected by the team coach to participate in a one minute three point shot shoot-out with one point for each basket and two points for the last basket in each of the three sets of five basketballs. The player with the highest score would be asked to attend the awards ceremony following the Gold Medal Game on Saturday afternoon. If there is a tie these players would be asked to compete prior to the Gold Medal game in a three free throw shootout final. Each registers team will be guaranteed THREE games. ( Three games are guaranteed ) Tournament Rules and Regulations: See YRAA Rules and Regulation documents for the 2017/2018 Season and playoffs. There will be a Coaches Lounge which Chex Andre, just look for the yellow canopy over the door entrance after following the signs posted on the wall along the hallway. I have arranged to have sitting and complementary Coffee available for all coaches. The following Game display board will record the results and will be in view not only in the coaches room, but in the open hallway. Teams are expected to warm up in Gym C in order to make the transition from one game to the next smooth and time efficient.
