Senior 5-3 CAPTAIN Archbishop Carroll Career (Junior): Played in, and started, 13 games Scored 15 goals, and assisted on four others, for a total of 19 points Scooped up 19 ground balls and controlled 17 draws Caused nine turnovers Converted four of her five 8-meter shots and led the team with a.962 shots on goal percentage Took 26 shots during the season, and 25 were on goal Named to the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll Ranked fourth on the team in goals, points and ground balls Fifth on the Greyhounds in ground balls Logged a career-high four goals in the Greyhounds double overtime win at Towson (3/28) Scored three times in the first half against the Tigers, then tied the game at 9-9 on an 8-meter goal with just over six minutes to play in regulation... Nichols School Career (Senior): Named the BIG EAST Conference Preseason Defensive Player of the Year (Junior): Named to the IWLCA/USLacrosse All-Mid- Atlantic Region First Team, as well as the All-BIG EAST First Team after starting all 16 games in the defensive unit Named to the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll, too, for her work in the classroom Led the Greyhounds with 37 ground balls and 24 caused turnovers Finished the season fifth in the BIG EAST in ground balls per game and fourth in caused turnovers per game Caused three Hofstra (2/26) turnovers and picked up two ground balls in the season-opener Recorded five ground balls in consecutive games at Rutgers (3/11) and against Boston University (3/14) Also had her best caused turnover numbers of the season in those two games, forcing four against the Scarlet Knights and five versus the Terriers Earned BIG EAST Honor Roll mention following those games Caused three turnovers in the Notre Dame game (3/25)... Woodson Career (Junior): Played in nine games Had an assist and took four shots from her position in the midfield Picked up one ground ball and had a draw control Assisted on a goal by Colleen O Keefe in the first half against Delaware (4/24) Also had a ground ball and draw control against the Blue Hens (Sophomore): Saw action in seven contests Scored two goals and had an assist during the season Also picked up two ground balls, had two draw controls and caused two turnovers All of her scoring came in a win over Towson (4/25) Both goals came in the second half of the game, giving the Greyhounds a one-goal advantage each time Also assisted on an Alicyn Brunnett score to make the score, 11-9 Had one ground ball and one draw control in games against the Tigers and George Mason (3/29). Personal: Courtney Nicole Arnold Daughter of Mark and Karen Arnold Born July 5, 1986, in Jacksonville, Fla Has one brother, Jason, who is a University of Maryland graduate Majoring in communications with a concentration in journalism (Freshman): Appeared in five games, scoring her first collegiate goal in the first game of the year against UMBC (3/1) Her goal came unassisted in the second half against the Retrievers Had a career-high two ground balls in the game, as well as a caused turnover and draw control Finished the season with three ground balls. High School: Earned seven letters, four in lacrosse, two in field hockey and one in track and field, at W.T. Severna Park Career (Junior): Played in and started all 16 games for the Greyhounds on attack Has started the last 27 games Loyola has played entering the 2008 season Scored 11 goals and had five assists for a total of 16 points Also had 12 ground balls, 16 draw controls and caused five turnovers Finished fifth on the team in goals and points and was tied for third in assists Took 25 shots during the season, putting 84-percent of them (21) on goal Scored a season- and career-high three goals at James Madison (4/3) Added two goals at Towson (3/28) Connecticut (4/11) and at home versus Cornell (5/5) The second of her two scores at Towson tie the game at on a free-position shot with a minute to play in regulation Had a knack for assisting on big goals Assisted on Kate McHarg s game-winning goal against UMBC (2/28) and at Towson Both scores came in the second overtime periods Controlled a career-high four draws at Towson Picked up three ground balls, a career-high against Georgetown (4/7). Villa Maria Academy Career (Junior): Earned All-BIG EAST Second Team honors after finishing second on the team in goals scored (20), third in total points (25) and tied for third in assists (5) Took 61 shots, second-most on the team, and put 45 of them on goal Converted 3-of-10 free-position shots Also controlled eight draws and picked up nine ground balls Played in 14 games, starting 11 Scored three times in each of the first three games of the season Tallied a goal and an assist versus Hofstra (2/26), the had three-goal performances against UMBC (2/28) and North Carolina (2/2) Scored twice on 8-meter attempts against Boston University (3/14) Season-high four goals and five total points at Connecticut (4/11)... Personal: Maura Eileen Kenny Daughter of Francis and Mary Kenny Born March 26, 1986, in Media, Pa The youngest of six children Has three older brothers Brendan, Brian and Michael and two older sisters Megan and Liz Brian was a baseball player at St. Joseph s, and Liz was a member of the Villanova women s lacrosse team Majoring in communications with an emphasis in advertising and public relations (Freshman): Made an immediate impact during her first season on the Evergreen campus, starting in 15 contests Finished second on the team in assists (7), third in goals scored (28) and fourth in total points (35) Scored in all but one game that she appeared in during her freshman campaign Registered a point in all 15 games, however Scored three goals four times and had 10 multi-goal outings Opened her collegiate career with two goals and an assist against UMBC (3/1) Scored three of Loyola s eight goals against North Carolina (3/4) Picked up three ground balls and had a careerhigh four draw controls versus the Tar Heels Scored three times and had a season-high four ground balls at James Madison Student-Athlete Biographies 15

Severna Park Career (Junior): Started all 14 games that she played in Finished the season with 16 ground balls and eight caused turnovers Also controlled three draws Picked up five ground balls and caused two turnovers in a win at Towson (3/28) Also had two caused turnovers against both Notre Dame (3/25) and at Delaware (4/24) Controlled two draws at Syracuse (4/21). Mercy 2006 DNP Injury Career (Sophomore): Played in her first collegiate game at Delaware (4/24) (Freshman): Did not play due to a shoulder injury. High School: Earned four letters in lacrosse at Mercy High School in Baltimore Captain of the lacrosse team, as well as a member of the pep squad. Personal: Jessica Marie Aikens Daughter of Robert Aikens and the late Diane Geppi-Aikens Born April 2, 1987, in Baltimore Her mother, Dianne, played lacrosse and volleyball at Loyola as a student-athlete and later coached both teams Her father, Robert, played baseball at High Point University Has an older brother, Michael, and two younger sisters, Melissa and Shannon Majoring in elementary education at Loyola. Junior 5-7 Defense Mount de Sales Academy Career (Sophomore): Played in two games Saw action in the Penn State (3/31) and Delaware (4/24) contests (Freshman): Caused a turnover in her first collegiate game, a win at George Mason (3/29) Played at Georgetown, as well (4/29). High School: Earned six varsity letters while playing lacrosse, basketball and field hockey at Mount de Sales Academy in Catonsville, Md Earned All-IAAM, All-Maryland and All- Baltimore County honors as a senior in lacrosse Captained the lacrosse team as a senior and was named the team s MVP that season Was the leading field hockey scorer in the Baltimore area, earning All-IAAM and team MVP laurels in 2004 as a junior Received the Presidential Academic Achievement Award. North Harford Career (Sophomore): Played in 12 games and started her first collegiate game against Georgetown (4/7) Finished the season with a goal, eight ground balls, three draw controls and three caused turnovers Scored her first goal as a Greyhound at Syracuse (4/21) Picked up two ground balls against Georgetown and at Connecticut (4/11) Caused two turnovers at Maryland (4/13) (Freshman): Saw action in three games Got into her first collegiate game against Rutgers (3/12), then played versus Notre Dame (3/16) and at George Mason (3/29).
