Now that hockey has got back to full swing I can finally take a deep breath. There, I've done that, now I won't take one till next May or June when we raise the Kelly Cup at Germain Arena. Our membership is continuing to grow each month and our new members are becoming very active within the club. As I said last month, Our slogan for this year is "COMMUNICATION and PARTICIPATION". That means we're going to communicate better with our members and we're going to get our members to participate more in our committees and club functions. Everyone knows we are pushing to get the 2009 ECHL Jamboree and that means we're going to do some fun and fantastic things this year, first we're going to raffle off a 2007 Harley-Davidson Ultra Glide Classic. This thing will be decked out and ready to ride. It will be a great sweetheart present for someone since we're drawing for it on Feb 14, 2007 Valentine's Day. Our sales our going kind of slow so I would encourage each member to purchase a ticket and to check out some to sell them to you friends and coworkers. With you r help we can make this work. I would like to take this time to wish Charles (Bubba) Devan a speedy recovery. He has gone through numerous setbacks since his original surgery over the summer. I'm sure the entire board and fan club can't wait to see him back at the table. As you see along with our regular raffle items, special functions with the players, transporting players, road trip supplies, gift baskets, household goods, monthly member meetings, adult's holiday party, kid's holiday party the club won't be very busy this year. (Just a little humor from your Prez). On the other hand we will be extremely busy and that's why we need your help. Remember when you join the club it's your club and we need your help. No help is too little and no one will be overlooked or turned away. Last but not least GO BLADES!!!

The helpers this time were Robert Brunda, Sharon Woodard, Justin Miller, Keith Moore, Bill Campbell, Marilu Campbell, Bev Healey and Isolde Boullin. A Great job was done by all. We will post on the board at the raffle table when the bus leaves for each road trip. (As long as they tell us in time). Please remember that donation are always welcome. You can contact me at the game or at the table and I can give more info on what we may need. Members are often curios about how the club's money is spent. Below is a list of some of the items that were purchased since July. 1. IPOD docking station for "jammin" on the bus during road trips - cost > $ Cold Therapy medical equipment used as an aid in healing times - cost > $ Apartment supplies 4. Meet & Greet Items 5. Power bars for locker room and road trips (between periods) 6. Raffle table items 7. Road trip supplies As you can see, most of the money we generate with raffles and sale items goes directly to the players in one form or another. Please continue buying those raffle tickets and sale items, so we can provide the very best for our guys!!! Holiday Party 12/3/06 That time of the year is right around the corner. Get on your party clothes, dancing shoes and join us at the Annual Holiday Party. It will be Fun, Fun, Fun!! Reception will be 5-6 PM with dinner and activities 6-10 PM. Our Secret Santa will be done in a different and "FUN" way this year. If you would like to participate, we are asking that you donate $25 towards the Secret Santa fund and your name will be included in the program. Charity Dance - The player that receives the most tickets, that you purchase, will be awarded the "Grand Prize". This also applies to the female with the most tickets collected. So bring your $5 bills and dance with your favorite player or lady and help them win their prizes. Please RSVP as soon as possible. 2

To the Florida Everblades Fan club Members, We would like to try to put together a weekend road trip this season but we need some feed back from you: 1) Would you be interested in going? 2) Do you think we should include the kids? 3) How many people would be in your party? 4) Would you rather go to Pensacola or Gwinnett, GA Pensacola is 9 hours and Gwinnett is 9 hours We would try to do it as a bus trip, with hotel accommodations and tickets for the game in the price. The date would have to be decided after we figure out where everyone would like to go. We could also put together a trip to Ft. Lauderdale to watch a Panther game so if you would be interested in that let us know. Thanks for your help, The Board. HOSPITALITY & SUNSHINE Karen Devan/Sharee Moore On September 27, 2006 we had a great turn out for packing the welcome baskets. Jason Nobili, Ernie Hartlieb, and Brent McDonald were our guest. In a short time 25 baskets were packed and loaded into trucks and taken to the storage garage at the apartments. The Fan Club wants to thank everyone that helped and donated items for the baskets. We had a great turn out on October 16, at the garage, to pass out the baskets to the players. A good time had by all and photos were taken. All player and staff that have had birthdays have received their cards with gift cards enclosed. All members birthday cards were mailed; this brings the birthdays up to date. We hope everyone had Happy Birthdays. The next mailings will be in December. Happy Thanksgiving to all. 3

The objectives of the Fan Club are to have fun, along with providing a forum for hockey enthusiasts to exchange ideas and have opportunities to enjoy the game of hockey. Furthermore, the Fan Club will provide support for the members of the Florida Everblades hockey team and their families. 5

6 6 Membership Committee Gini Hogenson December 2006 The Good News is We now have well over 100 members 158 to be exact. There are 111 adults and 47 children. Actual number of memberships is 69 with 46 of those being families. We are most definitely growing by leaps and bounds. Let s keep those blank applications handy. We need 42 more members to exceed last year s total membership and only 92 to reach our goal of 250. Each Family or Individual Membership, new or old, will receive a Special Membership Packet. Be sure to stop by the Raffle Table to pick up yours. Membership Buttons are very important this year, so please remember to wear yours proudly. The Membership Committee has plans for a couple of contests this year details to be announced later. Membership Cards and Everblades Wristbands will also be important you got it more contests.
