2 Welcome to the 9th Annual Kick Off Classic Sale! This is one of our favorite sales we manage for a couple of reasons. First, it s the 1st sale of the season and sets the tone for the year and second, the consignors are very much a family of Red Angus breeders who are very like minded. You will notice a lot of similarities in the programs even though they may be geographically far a part. It is our pleasure to offer you this excellent sampling of Red Angus genetics from several of the most respected breeders in the business. I truly believe that the genetics being offered in this event are second to none. Regardless of whether you are searching for a show heifer prospect, bred heifer, brood cow or future donor dam, I feel there will be cattle here that will fit your program and meet your goals. This event has a history and reputation of producing cattle that have went on to not only influence the herds of their new owners but in several cases influence the breed as a whole. I encourage you to study the lots offered within the pages of this catalog and find the genetics that will work for you. Diva was named named appropriately, she is the ultra feminine one and is my pick to be the sleeper, she is definitely going to be a little later in her maturity pattern than her sister.
