2 Welcome to the 22nd Annual Power of the Reds sale! We are very pleased to bring this event to you once again. This years offering will be of the largest and best in the history of this sale. Our hats are off to the consignors for bringing an exceptional set of Red angus cattle for this event. We here in the midwest have been blessed with some absolutely phenominal weather for the spring calving season so far this year. Many others in other regions have not been so lucky facing blizzard conditions for much of the early part of the calving season. This will be one of the largest offering of females this late in the sale season and it is an exceptional opportunity to add some females to you herd just as the grass is getting ready to green up. I believe that there are genetics offered within the pages of this catalog that will work in any breeding program in the country. We will offer you registered females in volume, semen and embryos that will accelerate your genetic program and a select few bulls that are ready to go into your breeding program. The national cowherd is still just a mere shadow of what it was a few years ago and the Red Angus female is the most sought after female of any breed on the national level. Cattlemen all over the country have discovered that the Red Angus female is the ultimate production female. She brings strong fertility, maternal, growth and carcass traits and a great disposition to cattlemens herds everywhere. I encourage you to study the lots being offered here and seek out the genetics that will work for your breeding program. If you have any specific questions about any of the lots being offered, I encourage you to call the consignors directly or myself.
