2 New Rules 2017 Features TMCA Training Day PLEASE NOTE: to help us retain our family friendly atmosphere, anyone who causes a disruption during the course of the weekend will be issued a bill by the TMCA. Also, a reminder that glass is not to be taken into the get together. We are a zero glass tolerant event. Drinks can be purchased at the event, or byo cans, casks, plastic bottles, etc. any glass found by security will be confiscated and can be collected at the end of the event. BYO S Again, as last year, it is bring your own hay, if you would like your horse to have hay at the get together. Merchandise If you would like to purchase a limit edition 30th anniversary polo top, these will be available at the get together. Get in quick, only limited stock available. In addition to the usual competitions and events, come along Friday night and watch a polocrosse showcase commencing at 6:00pm. Enjoy a carnival atmosphere with wood chopping on Saturday. The thrills and spills of the Ironman Challenge and the popular dog jump. Children are not forgotten with the Kid s Tent being provided for our young attendees, barrel racing, billy can race and whip cracking. Meeting The next committee meeting will be held on the 17 th January 2017, at the Westbury Fire Brigade, Lyell Street, Westbury. All are welcome. Meeting commences at 7:30. Trail Rides Craig Von Stigletz hosts a trail ride on the last Sunday of the month from his property at Patersonia. BYO lunch and a drink bottle. Enquires to Craig: The TMCA will be holding a cattle handling and handy stock horse training day for members to hone their skills on horseback. Beginners through to experienced welcome! Venue: Harveydale Rodeo Grounds, Birralee Road. When: Saturday, 10 th December, 2016 commencing at 10:00am. Cost: 2 options $40 (per horse & rider) entry, 2 runs with cattle in the arena and unlimited use of the handy stock horse equipment for the day OR $20 (per horse & rider) entry and unlimited use of the handy stock horse equipment for the day. 4 Get Together FAQ s Admission Prices (Pre-Paid meaning Online) Tickets can be purchased online at or by contacting the secretary. HAY: BYO. No hay will be available for purchase at the site. NO GLASS: The no glass policy will be enforced, vehicles will be checked at the gate and alcohol in glass containers will be confiscated. Cans, plastic bottles and casks are acceptable. WATER: A water tanker will provide water for the horses. Please bring water for human consumption. Please take a bucket or container with you if you are going to let your dog have a drink from the tanker this helps to save water! CAMPING: The designated family camping area worked well and will be continued. SECURITY: A strong security team will be on site Friday and Saturday nights with no unacceptable or anti- social behaviour tolerated. This sort of behaviour will be issued with a bill payable to the TMCA. A motion sensor camera will be installed at the entrance gate for night- time surveillance. STALLIONS: Stallions are to be 4 years of age or older and will only be accepted by written permission. An application form and further details can be obtained from the secretary. TRAIL RIDE: As well as the usual trail ride there will be a short ride of approximately 1 hour. CHAMPIONSHIP: Entries to be received by the 27 th January Senior - $50; Junior - $15. Entries can now be taken and paid for online at Prize money for 2016 has significantly increased, hence the entry fee rise from the previous year. VOLUNTEERS: are needed for a variety of jobs.
