1 2018 Paris Fair Speckle Park Show JUDGED BY KEN FRIESEN, KFC FARMS ABBOTSFORD, BRITISH COLUMBIA page 1/11
2 Ken Friesen KFC Farms I was born and raised on a chicken farm in Abbotsford, BC. To this day, we are still farming chickens however have we have added cattle to the farm over the years. Growing up we were a 4-H family, first members then a leader for 11 years. The Friesens and KFC Farms were active in the Angus breed for 25 years, hosting our annual purebred Angus sale from KFC still has a partnership in a 550 cow/calf operation in Central BC. The Speckle Park Breed caught my interest at Agribition in Outside the cattle industry, we have been involved in construction and land development since the 1980s, which has lead to other manufacturing opportunities. My wife Judy and I have three adult boys, two are married and one grand- daughter who will soon be dragging cattle around the farmyard. There are lots of outside interests, but my passion has always been the cattle. THE PARIS FAIR SPECKLE PARK BEEF SHOW COMMITTEE WISH TO THANK THE FOLLOWING SPONSORS FOR THEIR GENEROUS CONTRIBUTIONS TO OUR SHOW UPPER GRAND VETERINARY SERVICES BARN GIRLS PHOTOGRAPHY REMIN'S SPECKLE PARK CATTLE JOHNER STOCK FARM SILVERTIP SPECKLE PARK BROOKSLAND FARM EDGE WATER FARM (THE CORNER FAMILY) RIVER HILL FARM PRO RICH SEEDS AGRITISING SOLUTIONS/FARMSTEAD GALLERY PRO VITRO IVF SERVICE WATSON LAND AND LIVESTOCK INC H.S.
