1 Dear Rodeo Contestant, Welcome to the 2018 Palm Springs HOT RODEO. This year s rodeo will be held May 12th and May 13th at the A.C. Dysart Equestrian Center in Banning, CA. We have received your contestant preregistration and would like to thank you for choosing to compete in our rodeo. This letter includes information relative to contestant registration and competition. INDIAN CANON DRIVE 2101 W Victory Ave PALM SPRINGS, CA Banning, CA, (760) (I-10 Freeway, 22nd Street Exit, South to the end of the road) HORSE CHECK-IN Thursday May 10, 2018 Noon to 9:00pm Friday May 11, :00am to 9:00pm our Barn Manager is: Don (562) (IGRA Rodeo Rules VII.20) Horse contestants are provided one (1) stall at no cost. Contestants reserving additional stalls will be required to pay stall fees of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) per additional stall for the rodeo weekend. Tack Stalls are not available. Stalls are not guaranteed for contestants who do not make reservations prior to the contestant pre-registration cutoff date (Friday, ). Late entries and those contestants not reserving an adequate number of stalls will be charged a fifty dollar ($50.00) late fee. New contestants (those not assigned an IGRA contestant number prior to April 12, 2018) will not be charged a late stall fee for the first stall. For additional information, see the website (U.S.) and (Canada). Note: Dogs/Pets are allowed in the barn and spectator areas only and must be on leash at all times. Those individuals failing to comply will be asked to leave the premises.

The contestant is responsible for paying the Veterinarian and Farrier for any personal use. RV PARKING / CAMPING / HORSE TRAILERS Reservations for RV parking, camping and horse trailers are required. Contestants with horse trailers will be given one spot per trailer free of charge (electrical outlets in area). Otherwise, RV and camping spaces at the rodeo grounds are $20. 3 BUDD PASSES Buddy Passes will be available at contestant registration only. No Buddy Passes will be available after the close of registration. No replacement Buddy Passes will be issued if original is lost, stolen, or destroyed. The Buddy Pass price is $30.00 and will allow access to all rodeo events including the Dance on Saturday Night. Buddies must be present at registration with contestant to purchase Buddy Pass. (Note: The Saturday Night dance is age 21 and over only. NO EXCEPTIONS ID REQUIRED!) For Contestants traveling with children age 14 and under, Junior Buddy Passes are available for $15 each. There is a maximum of 1 Adult and 2 Junior Buddy Passes per contestant. CAMP EVENTS Attention All Camp Events will have a two (2) minute time limit. CONTESTANT REGISTRATION Contestant Registration will be at the Baymont Inn & Suites Friday, May 11, 2018 from 5:00PM-8:00 P.M. All Entry fees paid at registration must be paid in cash, certified check, money order or credit card only. NO PERSONAL/BUSINESS CHECKS OF AN KIND. LATE ENTR FEE (IGRA RODEO RULES VIII, 2, F & G) Late entries for rough stock or roping event(s) will be charged a flat fee of $ NOTE: The HOT RODEO 2018 Rodeo Directors Buck Beal and Terry Russ will WAIVE late fees for Palm Springs HOT RODEO. PRIZE MONE There is no added money this year.

4 IMPORTANT INFORMATION our contestant badge received at registration on Friday night will gain you admittance to: The rodeo both Saturday and Sunday & Saturday night DANCING UNDER THE STARS at CHILL BAR in Palm Springs (Badge must be worn to gain access NO EXCEPTIONS!) NO SMOKING WILL BE PERMITTED IN THE ARENA OR CHUTE AREAS DURING THE RUNNING OF EVENTS. IGRA Rodeo Rule IV.4 will be strictly enforced by the GPSC of the GSGRA along with all other rules. Any participant in an IGRA rodeo as a rodeo contestant, stock contractor and personnel, arena/chute volunteer, rodeo official, or security personnel, may be asked by any acting rodeo official to leave the rodeo arena and secured working areas if under the influence or in possession of an open container of alcohol or any illegal drugs of any kind. Disciplinary action may be taken against any participant in an IGRA rodeo for the possession of an open container of alcohol or any illegal drug in the secured areas of the rodeo including the arena, chutes, barn, or contestant areas at any time from the start of the first rodeo event until the rodeo conclusion each day. This includes any buddies you have signed in under your contestant number. NON-PARTICIPANTS Please note that the main gate opens at 8:00am. On Saturday and 8:00 am Sunday. No one without a badge is permitted on the rodeo grounds prior to this time. If you are traveling with friends who do not have a buddy pass or a badge, please understand that they will not be permitted to enter the grounds until the gates are open to the public. Gate opening time is subject to change, as the gate opening requires the approval of the Fire Marshal. AWARDS CEREMON The Awards Ceremony is scheduled to begin at 8:00 P.M. on Sunday, May 13, 2018 on the patio of Azul, 369 N. Palm Canyon Dr., Palm Springs, CA Palm Springs Hot Rodeo is an IGRA sanctioned rodeo. All 2018 IGRA rules and regulations apply.
