2 The 2018 National Western Simmental The One Sale marked the 25th Anniversary of the sale. The genetics that have walked through the ring at this sale and have made their mark on the industry is overwhelming. Colorado Simmental Association and everyone at Eberspacher ENT Inc wish to thank the breeders for their 25 years of dedication to this sale. Since 1997, a breeder has stepped up and donated an animal or genetics to the American Simmental/Simbrah Foundation with proceeds going to the Silver and Gold Merit awards for the youth of our breed. This year, Craig McCallum of Circle M Farms donated a beautiful bred heifer, CMFM Lola D905 which was purchased by a consortium group consisting of Hidden Oaks, Owens Brothers, Comfort Ranch, Red River Farms, Eberspacher ENT Inc, Hilbrands Cattle CO, Lone Tree Simmental, JS Simmentals, RS&T Simmentals, Shipwreck Cattle Co, Jones Show Cattle, Buck Creek Cattle, Wayward Hills Farms, Eichacker Simmental, Top Hat Simmental, Glacier Cattle CO, Bar Q Simmentals, Sublette Cattle CO, Shoal Creek Cattle, Silvertown Farms and American Simmental/Simbrah Foundation. The group then donated her back and she will head back to Texas and reside at Smith C Diamond Ranch with Ronnie and Susan Smith. The total gather up from Lola D905 was $31,000 bring the amount gathered since 1997 to an amount of $356,500.
