1 Sale Report The South Dakota Simmental Association hosted the annual state meeting, banquet and SD Simmental Source Sale on Friday and Saturday December 16 & 17th at the Ramada Inn and Mitchell Livestock, Mitchell, SD. Despite the snow storm on Thursday and Friday, many braved the weather to attend and contributed to a very successful event. The banquet also included a fund raising auction to assist with expenses for the upcoming AJSA Regional to be held in SD in June and the auction raised over $23,000. Thank you to all that supported this auction in items sold or items purchased. The wind decided to make its presence known on sale day but that did not stop the auction or auction attendees in person, phone line or DV Auctions.
